변사자 부패체액에서 전자코를 이용한 사망추정시간 연구

국문 초록

실내에서 사망한 변사자의 몸에서 나오는 체액의 냄새를 전자코 분석시스템으로 측정하여 사망경과시간을 추정하고 냄새의 주요 성분을 알아보고자 본 실험을 시행하였다. 분석을 위한 시료는 실내에서 질병으로 사망한 변사자의 몸 주변에 흘러나온 부패체액을 6월과 7월에 6개를 채취하였으며 분석을 실시하기 전까지 냉동 상태로 보관하였다. 전자코 분석시스템으로 부패체액을 분석하여 부패냄새의 주요 성분은 프로페놀(Propenol)이 가장 많았고 2-부탄놀 (2-Butanol)이 그 다음으로 많은 것으로 나타났다. 부패체액의 냄새를 이용하여 사망시간을 추정할 경우, 사망 6일 이후에 채취한 시료의 냄새가 변화되는 양상이 6일 이전의 시료 보다는 작게 나타나는 분석결과를 보였다. 따라서 냄새의 변화가 작아지는 6일 이후의 시료보다는 이전의 시료를 더 많이 분석한다면 보다 정확한 사망시간을 추정하는 것이 가능할 것으로 생각된다.

영문 초록

This experiment was conducted to estimate the postmortem interval of death by measuring the odor of body fluid from the body of a deceased person indoors with an electronic nose analysis system and to find out the main components of the odor. Samples for analysis were collected from 6 pieces of decaying body fluid flowing around the body of a stool died from a disease indoors in June and July, and stored in a frozen state until analysis. By analyzing the spoiled body fluid with an electronic nose analysis system, it was found that the main component of the spoiled odor was propenol, followed by 2-butanol. In the case of estimating the time of death using the odor of the decaying body fluid, the analysis result showed that the change in the odor of the sample collected after 6 days of death was smaller than that of the sample before 6 days of death. Therefore, it is thought that it is possible to estimate the death time more accurately if the previous sample is analyzed more than the sample after 6 days when the change in odor is small.
