국문 초록

본 연구는 몽골 및 중앙아시아(CIS) 5개국 국가들의 경제성장 및 경제발전요인에 어떠한 변수가 영향을 미치는지에 대해 실증적으로 분석한 것이다. 1999∼2019년간의 자료를 기반으로 몽골 및 중앙아시아(CIS) 5개국 국가들을 대상으로 비교 분석한 결과 이들 국가의 경제성장에 공적개발원조(ODA) 및 외국인직접투자(FDI)가 지대한 영향을 미치고 있는 것을 알 수 있었다. 다음으로 국가별 비교분석 결과에서는 우선 몽골 및 키르기스스탄의 경우 경제성장률(GDP)에 공적개발원조(ODA)가 경제성장에 유의미한 결과를 나타냈으며, 카자흐스탄의 경우 외국인직접투자(FDI) 및 수출이 경제성장에 큰 영향을 주는 것으로 분석되었다. 그리고 키르기스스탄, 투르크메니스탄, 우즈베키스탄의 경우도 공적개발원조(ODA), 외국인직접투자(FDI) 및 수출이 경제성장을 촉진하는 해외요인으로 판명되었다. 이상의 실증분석 결과를 바탕으로 볼 때 몽골 및 중앙아시아 국가들의 경제성장에 공적개발원조와 외국인직접투자가 가장 중요하게 기여하는 요인으로 분석되었으므로, 이들 국가들은 공적개발원조와 외국인직접투자를 바탕으로 수출주도형 경제성장을 추진하여 장기적인 경제성장을 도모해야 할 것이다.

영문 초록

This paper analyzed economic growth factors of the five countries of Mongolia and Central Asia (CIS). Based on the data from 1999 to 2019, a comparative analysis was conducted for five countries in Mongolia and Central Asia (CIS). Used of variables such as import and export factors, foreign direct investment (FDI) and official development assistance (ODA) have a profound influence on the economic growth of these countries. The results of comparative analysis by country, it was analyzed that official development assistance (ODA) had an effect on the economic growth rate (GDP) in Mongolia and Kyrgyzstan. In the confirmed for Kazakhstan’s variable FDI and export variables affect economic growth. In the case of Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan, it was also confirmed ODA, FDI and exports have greatest impact on economic growth. Based on the results of this empirical analysis, ODA and FDI were analyzed as the most important determinants for Mongolia and Central Asian countries, and export-led economic growth was promoted based on ODA and FDI. It is essential to lay the foundation for economic growth, and it draws implications that FDI and export imports policy implementation are important in the period of a leap forward in economic growth.
