국문 초록

복잡한 물류 운송서비스 체제를 원활하게 하기 위하여 공차정보시스템 운용이 매우 중요하다. 업종별 공차정보시스템 센터의 구축과 운용 그리고 활성화 등에 관한 다양한 연구가 존재하고 있다. 하지만 화물자동차 분야의 공차정보시스템에 대한 연구는 극소수에 불과하다. 이 연구의 목적은 화물자동차 공차정보시스템 센터 통합 구축과 운영에 대한 분석을 하는 것이다. 문헌연구 및 전문가 인터뷰를 통하여 화물자동 분야의 공차정보시스템 센터를 구축하기 위한 필요한 내용을 추출한다. 그리고 일본 및 국내의 중․소규모의 공차정보시스템 사례를 분석하고 통합화를 위한 전제조건을 제시한다. 그리고 해결방안을 위하여 전문가 및 대표업체, 화물자동차 운전자를 대상으로 실태조사에 의한 수요도 분석을 하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 현재 중․소규모의 공차정보시스템 센터가 난립되어 운용되고 있는 현황을 통합화해야 하는 것으로 나타났다. 복잡한 다단계 운송 서비스 시스템을 해결함으로써 공차율과 운송비를 절감하고 효율성을 갖출 수 있는 것이다. 둘째, 정보기술의 접목이다. 하나의 예로, 공차정보 ERP시스템의 도입은 지역 간의 네트워크를 실시간으로 연결시켜 화물자동차의 터미널 집중에 의한 화물 수송의 번잡성도 해결할 수 있는 것이다. 화물자동차 공차정보시스템에 대한 연구는 시작에 불과하다. 따라서 이 연구에서는 사례 및 설문에 의한 실태조사에 치중하였다. 향후에는 세밀한 실무사례 분석, 실증검증 등이 계속되어야 할 것이다.

영문 초록

The operation of truck empty information system center is important to run the system of complex logistics transport service smoothly but there are few studies on the truck empty information system center especially in the metropolitan area. The purpose of this paper is to make a decision on the location and grasp the size of truck empty information system center therein through the establishment and improvement of their integrated system. This paper conducted the actual survey and analysed the degree of demand for freight truck operators through the interviews by Expert Group Focus Survey(EGFS) as well as the literature survey. The analysis resulted in as follows: First of all, there were too many truck operators competing with one another among various small-and-medium sized truck companies in the metropolitan area. The lack of their operating competency needs an integration with respect to economies of scale through the strategic alliance. The northeast and southwest areas were the most appropriate locations to establish the truck call center system to keep the relevant roads running smoothly and the empty information system center size required over 3,000 pyung(apporoximately 10,000 sq mts) with the structure of mezzanine in line with the logistics facilities inthuding the space for offices, parking places and employees’ rest rooms. There were some communication gaps by age groups while communicating according to the different equipment type of communication. Truck drivers aged over the mid-thirties tended to prefer a voiced means of communication to a message-typed one. This tendency requires a practical application of the freight truck operators to the conveniency of a voiced communication rather than that of a written message. Most truck drivers aged over mid-thirties will be suited to such a system that combines the common use of TRS and cellular phones with important functions like the sysnthesis of voice and written messages rather than the newest communication system. This study can be enhanced through further detailed case studies in the relevant field and empirical verification as a following research work.
