국문 초록

결혼이주여성들을 위한 다양한 교육 프로그램과 제도적 장치가 마련되고 있지만 그들의 정서적 안정에 부응하지 못하는 면이 있다. 이에 문화예술 체험 등 직접 경험 과정에서 공감을 통한 한국 사회 이해, 여성과 어머니라는 지위를 고려한 소통 기회 제공 등 결혼이주여성의 삶의 질 향상에 도움이 될 수 있는 프로그램을 마련할 필요가 있다. 아울러 그들이 정체성을 지키는 가운데 새롭게 형성되는 정체성도 자부심으로 삼을 수 있는 동기부여가 필요하다. 그동안 결혼이주여성들이 한국에 정착하기 위해 받아왔던 한국어 교육을 통한 한국문화 이해하기 방식에서 벗어남으로써 가능한 부분이 있기 때문이다. 특히 문화예술 향유권은 한 인격체로서 당연히 누려야 할 권리 중 하나이다. 물론 결혼이주여성들이 문화예술 향유를 할 때는 그들의 정체성을 지키면서도 사회 구성원으로서 당당한 삶을 영위하기 위한 것이어야 한다. 그러기 위해서는 이러한 문화예술 경험과 향유 활동에 참여할 수 있는 동기부여가 필요하다. 하지만 이때의 동기부여는 단순히 문화예술을 향유하기 위한 동기 부여가 아니라 ‘생의 의지’와 관련된 동기부여이다. 결국 결혼이주여성들의 문화예술 향유권은 생의 의지를 지키는데 필요한 동기부여의 일부이다. 본 연구에서는 화가 이성자의 생애와 작품을 사례로 삼고 결혼이주여성들의 문화예술 향유를 위한 동기부여를 제시한다.

영문 초록

Various educational programs and institutional devices are in place for married migrant women, but they do not live up to their emotional stability as expected. It is necessary to prepare programs that can help improve the quality of life for married migrant women, such as understanding Korean society through empathy and providing opportunities for communication considering their status as a woman and mother in the course of direct experience such as culture and art experience. In addition, they need to be motivated to take pride in the identity that is formed while they protect it. This is because there are some parts that are possible by moving away from the way marriage migrant women understand Korean culture through Korean language education that they have been receiving to settle in Korea. In particular, the right to enjoy culture and arts is one of the rights to be enjoyed as a person. Of course, when married immigrant women enjoy culture and arts, they should keep their identity and lead a confident life as members of society. In order to do so, it is necessary to be motivated to participate in this cultural and artistic enjoyment. However, the motivation at this time is not just an incentive to enjoy culture and art, but a motivation to invoke the will of life. After all, the right to enjoy culture and arts of married immigrant women is a necessary motivation to protect their will to live. In this study, we use the life and work of the artist Lee Sung-ja as examples and present motivations for the enjoyment of culture and art among married migrant women.
