강간통념과 성역할 고정관념이 성행동에서 여성의 ‘명목상 저항이유’에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구는 첫째, 강간통념, 성역할 고정관념, 명목상 저항이유의 하위요인에 대하여 알아본 결과, 선행연구와는 다소 차이가 있었다. 강간통념을 피해자에 초점을 두어 명명할 때, 그 하위요인은 피해자의 음란성 , 피해자의 행동에 대한 오해 요인으로 구성되었고, 성역할 고정관념은 성역할에 초점을 두어 명명할 때, 그 하위요인은 남존여비 , 여성다움 , 혼전순결주의 요인으로 구성되었으며, 성행동에서 여성의 명목상 저항한 이유의 하위요인은 성적 조종 , 성적 평판 우려 , 상대에 대한 확신 부족 , 성관계 후 현실불안 , 혼전순결의지 , 성관계 후 이별우려 요인으로 구성되었다. 둘째, 성행동에서 여성의 명목상 저항이유 의 하위요인 중 남녀 모두 성적 조종 과 성적 평판 우려 요인이 강간통념, 그리고 성역할 고정관념과 매우 유의한 상관이 있었고, 추가적으로 여성의 경우에는 성관계 후 이별 우려 도 유의한 상관이 있었다. 특히 남녀 모두 강간통념중 피해자의 음란성 요인이 여성의 명목상 저항한 이유의 하위요인 중에서 성적 조종 을 유의하게 설명하고, 강간통념 중 피해자의 행동에 대한 오해 요인이 여성의 명목상 저항한 이유의 하위요인 중에서 성관계 후 이별 우려 를 유의하게 설명한다. 요약하면, 남녀 모두 여자는 성적으로 음란하고, 성적으로 남자를 오해하게 만드는 존재 라는 강간통념이 강할수록 여자는 남자를 성적으로 조종하고, 성관계 후 이별에 대하여 우려하는 불안한 존재 라고 인식할 가능성이 높다는 것이며, 이는 남녀 모두에게 여성을 성적으로 부정적이고 성폭력의 유발적인 존재로 인식되도록 하는 것에, 다소 영향을 줄 위험성이 있다.

영문 초록

In this study, first, as a result of investigating the sub factors of rape myth, gender role stereotypes, reasons of nominal resistance, there were some differences from previous studies. When naming the rape myth with focus on the victim, victim s lewdness , misunderstanding about victim s behavior were its composition, whereas predominance of men over women , femininity , premarital sex were the factors of gender stereotypes. Reasons for women s nominal resistance in sexual behavior were sexual control , concern of sexual reputation , lack of certainty for the opponent , reality anxiety after sexual intercourse , willingness for premarital sex before marriage and fear of parting after sexual intercourse . Second, among sub factors of women’s nominal resistance, sexual control , concern of sexual reputation turned out to be most correlated with rape myth and gender stereotypes, and in addition fear of parting after sexual intercourse had significant correlation for women. Especially for both sex, victim s lewdness and misunderstanding of victim s behavior significantly explained sexual control and fear of parting after sexual intercourse respectively. In summary, there is a risk of viewing women as existence controlling men sexually and being anxious about parting after sexual intercourse when both sex have strong rape myth of women is lustful and triggers sexual misunderstanding to men , which again leads to misrecognizing women as sexually negative and sex violence inducing being.
