국문 초록

한국전쟁은 민족사적으로나 세계사적으로 중요한 의미가 있는 역사적 사건이었다. 한국전쟁은 대한민국의 현대사에서 가장 비극적인 사건으로 한국전쟁으로 전 국토가 폐허가 되었고, 천만 이산가족을 초래했을 뿐만 아니라 우리 민족사의 전개과정에서 심대한 영향을 미쳤고 세계사에도 큰 의미를 남겼다. 3년여의 전쟁기간 동안 무려 21개국이라는 많은 나라가 참전하여 3백여만 명이 희생된 대규모 전쟁으로서, 냉전 이후 최초의 국제전이라는 의미를 가진다. 한국전쟁은 현대사에 가장 많은 참전국이 참전한 전쟁사로 2010년 기네스북에 등재되었다. 2000년 최초의 남북한 정상회담이 개최되고 남북한 교류협력이 지속되고 있지만 여전히 한반도는 국제정세 속에서 평화를 정착하지 못하고 불안이 지속되고 있다. 한국전쟁 70주년을 맞이하여 한국전쟁의 발발원인과 준비과정, 유엔평화군성전추모연합회를 창설한 문선명 총재와 추모연합회의 활동을 소개한 후 한국전쟁이 국내외에 미친 영향과 함의를 고찰해보고자 한다.

영문 초록

The Korean War was a historical event with important national and world history. The Korean War is the most tragic event in the modern history of the Republic of Korea, and the Korean War destroyed the entire country and resulted in 10 million separated families, and had a profound influence in the development of our national history and left a great meaning in world history. During the three-year war period, as many as 21 countries participated in the war, and 3 million people were sacrificed, meaning that it is the first international war since the Cold War. The Korean War was listed in the Guinness Book of Records in 2010 as the history of the war in which the most veterans of the modern history took part. Although the first inter-Korean summit was held in 2000 and exchanges and cooperation between the two Koreans continued, the Korean peninsula is still unable to establish peace amid the international situation and unrest persists. On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Korean War, we will examine the cause and process of the Korean War, the activities of the United Nations Peace Forces Memorial Association, and the character of Sun Myung Moon.
