유아교사의 전문성과 소진의 관계에서 소명감의 매개효과

국문 초록

본 연구는 유아교사의 전문성과 소진의 관계에서 소명감의 매개효과를 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 대구·경북지역의 유치원과 어린이집 교사 420명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 수집한 자료는 SPSS 25.0과 SPSS Process Macro 3.5를 사용하여 분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 유아교사의 소진은 전문성, 소명감과 부적 상관관계가 있었으며, 전문성과 소명감은 정적 상관관계를 보였다. 둘째, 유아교사의 전문성과 소진의 관계에서 소명감은 완전매개 효과가 있었다. 즉, 유아교사의 전문성이 소진에 직접 영향을 주지는 않지만, 소명감을 매개로 하였을 때 소진에 간접적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과 유아교사의 소진을 낮추기 위해서는 교사의 전문성과 함께 소명감에 대한 관심이 요구되며, 이를 위해 교사교육 과정에서 교사로서의 신념이나 가치를 향상시키는 방안에 대해 논의하였다.

영문 초록

between early childhood teacher’s professionalism and burnout. For this, surveys were conducted on 420 early childhood teachers from kindergartens and day care centers, and the collected data were analyzed by SPSS 25.0 and SPSS Process Macro 3.5. The results were as following : First, it appeared that early childhood teacher’s burnout had significantly negative correlations with professionalism and calling, whereas professionalism had significantly positive correlation with calling. Second, the relationship between the professionalism and burnout, the calling was completely mediated. In other words, the professionalism does not directly affect burnout, but it was shown that it indirectly affects burnout when calling is used as a medium. As a result of this study, it is necessary to increase the calling along with professionalism to reduce the burnout of early childhood teacher. Based on these results, the study discussed the effective methods for enhancing the belief and value of teachers in the course of teacher education.
