영문 초록

This study is a preliminary impact assessment stage for the development of coastal resort in Cordova, Philippines, and is as survey of the fauna living in the same area along with details such as species, quantity, and regeneration of mangroves living in the area. The survey was conducted for 3 days from August 10, 2020, in 2 regions(Day-As, Bang-Bang) and 9 peaks were selected and surveyed in Cordova, where mangroves are widely distributed. The survey is conducted using the Standard Line Transect Method to classify the species inhabiting each area, and the mangrove tree height, crown cover ratio, regeneration per ㎡, and girth at breast height(GBH) are measured using the field guide method developed by Primavera and BRAR. As a result of the investigation, there are total of five mangrove species(Avicennia marina, Rhizophora stylosa, Ceriops tagal, Excoecaria agallocha, Pemphis acidula), of which Excoecaria agallocha and Pemphis acidula are excluded from the measurement because they are found outside the investigation area. In addition, 9 bird species and 4 other common fauna appear in the area. The mangrove crown cover ratio is in excellent condition, higher than 76% in both areas, and the average mangrove height in Bang-Bang area is 5.67m, which is better than 4.08m in Day-As area, and the regeneration rate per ㎡ is in good condition with an average of 0.92, however, Day-As is in poor condition with 0.16. The results of this survey can be used as a basis for recording the existence and population of mangroves and fauna species in Cordova, Philippines.
