중학생의 국어 교과 태도와 국어교사의 수업 능력에 대한 인식이 국어 성취도에 미치는 종단적 영향

국문 초록

본 연구에서는 경기교육종단연구 4차년도(2015년)~6차년도(2017년)의 중학생 자료를 사용하여 국어 교과 태도(국어수업 몰입, 국어수업 태도, 국어효능감, 국어흥미)와 국어교사의 수업 능력에 대한 인식이 국어 성취도에 미치는 종단적 영향을 분석하였다. 분석 결과를 종합하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 국어수업 몰입, 국어수업태도, 국어효능감과 국어 성취도는 시간이 지남에 따라 향상된 반면 국어흥미와 국어교사의 수업능력에 대한 인식은 감소되었다. 둘째, 중학생의 국어 교과 태도와 국어 성취도 간 연구모형의 경로 추정치를 분석한 결과, 국어수업 태도, 국어흥미의 초깃값과 변화율이 국어 성취도에 미치는 관계를 제외하고는 나머지 관계에서 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다. 셋째, 중학생의 국어 교사의 수업능력에 대한 인식과 국어 성취도 간 연구모형의 경로 추정치를 분석한 결과, 국어교사의 수업능력에 대한 인식의 초깃값은 국어 성취도 초깃값과 변화율에 정적으로 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 교육적 시사점을 논의하였다.

영문 초록

In this study, using data from middle school students in the 4th(2015) to 6th year(2017) of the Gyeonggi Education Panel Study, the longitudinal effect of Korean learning attitudes (Korean class immersion, Korean class attitude, Korean efficacy, Korean interest) and Korean teacher s perception of teaching ability on Korean academic achievement was analyzed. The results are as follows. First, immersion in Korean class, Korean class attitude, Korean efficacy and Korean academic achievement improved over time, while the interest in Korean and the perception of Korean teacher s teaching ability decreased. Second, as a result of analyzing the path estimate of the research model between the Korean learning attitude and Korean academic achievement level of middle school students, it was found that the relationship between the Korean class attitude, the initial value of Korean interest, and the rate of change had a significant effect on the remaining relationships, Third, as a result of analyzing the path estimation value of the research model between Korean teacher s perception of teaching ability and Korean academic achievement of middle school students, the initial value of Korean teacher s perception of instructional ability has a positive effect on the initial value of Korean academic achievement and the rate of change. Based on these results, educational implications were discussed.
