역량기반 교육과정에 대한 초등학교 교사의 인식 및 운영 현황 분석

국문 초록

본 연구는 경남지역 초등학교 교사들의 역량기반 교육과정 관련 운영 현황을 연구하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 초등학교 교사들의 역량기반 교육과정에 대한 핵심역량, 교과역량 및 성취기준 관련 인식, 중요도, 실행도, 교육과정-수업-평가, 과정중심평가 현황이 어떠한지를 분석하고자 하였다. 연구대상은 경상남도 초등학교에 재직중인 교사 1025명이며, 이들을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 불성실 응답자를 제외한 922명의 자료를 분석하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 핵심역량, 교과역량 및 성취기준 관련인식 결과를 통해 경남지역 초등 교사들은 학교유형에 관계없이 모두 높은 인식 수준을 보이고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 교육과정 재구성 관련 중요도 영역을 살펴보면성취기준 중심의 교육과정 재구성이 역량기반 중심 교육과정 및 교과서 중심 교육과정 보다 중요도에서 높은 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 교육과정 재구성 관련 실행도 영역을살펴보면 성취기준 중심의 교육과정 재구성 실행이 역량기반 중심 교육과정 및 교과서 중심 교육과정 보다 높은 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 중요도와 실행도 문항들 간의차이 비교 결과를 살펴보면 실행도와 중요도 차이는 통계적으로 유의미한 수준에서차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was for teachers of elementary schools in Gyeongnam Province to identify the current status and application of competency-based curriculum. For the research issues, this study conducts a survey research from 1,025 teachers working at elementary schools in Gyeongnam province and 922 of them were analyzed. The results of research problem were as the follows: First, The re-organization of curriculum for student-oriented classes is becoming common. Second, For the Core competency and achievement standards, all teachers recognized that there was sufficient correlation. Third, As for the importance related to the reconstruction of curriculums, the curriculum based on achievement standards was found to be important. Fourth, As for the execution related to the reconstruction of curriculums, the implementation of the curriculum re-organization centered on achievement criteria was found to be the highest. Fifth, the results of the comparison between materiality and execution indicated that there was a difference in performance and materiality at a statistically significant level.
