영유아 안전교육 핵심역량에 대한 원장과 보육교사의 인식

국문 초록

본 연구는 어린이집에서 안전 활동을 내실 있게 구현하기 위해서 보육교사의 영유아 안전교육 핵심역량을 탐색하는 것으로 연구문제는 원장과 보육교사가 인식하는 영유아 안전교육 핵심역량과 영유아 안전교육 핵심역량 요인에 대한 원장과 보육교사의 상대적 중요도는 어떠한지를 알아보고자 하였다. 그 결과 첫째, 원장과 보육교사가 인식하는 영유아 안전교육 핵심역량은 전문지식 영역 3개, 지도기술 영역 3개, 개인특성 영역 5개, 교육운영 영역 6개로 총 17개를 최종요인으로 나타났다. 둘째, 영유아 안전교육 핵심역량 요인에 대한 원장과 보육교사의 상대적 중요도에 대한 연구결과는 일상생활에서 반복적 교육이 1순위로 나타났다. 이에 따른 추후연구에서는 보육교사가 영유아 안전교육 핵심역량 요인에 기반한 프로그램을 통해 영유아의 안전에 대한 행동의 변화 과정을 모니터링 할 수 있는 질적 후속 연구도 진행되어야 할 것이다.

영문 초록

This study is to explore the core competencies of infant safety education in order to realize safety activities in daycare centers. The research problem was to find out the relative importance of the principal and child safety education as well as the key factors of infant safety education. The results showed that, first, the core competencies of infant safety education recognized by the director and child care teachers were the final factors: 3 areas of expertise, 3 areas of leadership skills, 5 areas of personal characteristics, 6 areas of education and operation, and a total of 17. Second, the results of a study on the relative importance of principals and nursery teachers on key competence factors for infant safety education showed that repetitive education was the top priority in daily life. As a result, a qualitative follow-up study should also be conducted to monitor the process of changes in behavior toward infant safety through programs based on key factors in infant safety education.
