국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 제주도내 문화예술의 거리 조성과 활성화를 위해 선진 외국사례 분석을 통해 시사점과 정책제언을 하고자 하는 것에 있었다. 대상으로는 산타페시를 참고로 하고 제주지역에 적용하는 것으로 설정했다. 제주의 관광패턴과 프로그램을 반성하고 건전하고 건강하며 지속가능한 관광지가 되기위해서는 문화예술을 활용하는 창조계급과 창조도시를 만드는 문화예술의 거리가 활성화 되어야 할 것이다. 정책제언에서 제기한 내용들은 다음과 같다. 1) 문화적 정체성이 있는 환경(역사적 요소)의 보존과 자원화, 2) 문화예술 및 관광행위가 활성화되도록 지원, 3) 문화시설과 공공공간의 재배치와 기존 시설의 활용, 4) 문화 유산의 보존과 문화관광자원으로 자원화, 5) 창조산업과 창조계급의 유치와 양성, 그리고 창조도시로의 연결, 6) 명사의 거리: 작가나 음악가, 미술가들의 거리 조성, 7) 예술의 생산을 목적으로 하는 행위 활성화, 8) 문화예술 활동을 통해 전수하는 행위 지원, 9) 주차나 치안 등 관광객들의 안전과 편의서비스의 지속적 제공, 10) 볼거리, 먹거리, 놀거리의 다양화와 수준 향상 유도 등이다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this research is to identify the meaning and propose the oplicy through analyzing the advanced cases in the foreign country for the establishment and vitalization of the cultural art street in Jeju Island. The main target area was the city of Santa Fe and set to apply on the regions of Jeju. To reflect the tourism patterns and programs of Jeju and to make Jeju a healthy and sustainable tourist site, the cultural art street that makes the creative class and creative city using the culture and art must be vitalized. The policy details proposed are as follows including 1) the preservation of the environment (historical element) of cultural identity and turn them into the resources, 2) the support for the vitalization of cultural art and tourist activities, 3) the rearrangement of cultural facilities and public spaces and application of the existing facilities, 4) the preservation of cultural assets and turn them into the cultural tourism resources, 5) the invitation and promotion of the creative industry and class, and cnnection to the creative ciy, 6) the street of well-known person: create a street of an artist, musician, writer, etc., 7) the vitalization of the art producing activities, 8) the support for the activities of passing down through the cultural and artistic activities, 9) the continuous provision services for the safety and convenience of the tourists such as parkin gpublic order, etc., 10) the diversification and improvement of the things to see, eat and play.
