국문 초록

본 연구는 저소득 장애가정 청소년들을 대상으로 하는 자산형성 지원사업인 요술통장사업 참여자의 경험을 질적연구를 통해 살펴보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 장애가정 청소년의 특성과 기존의 자산형성사업에 대한 문헌을 파악하고, 10인의 연구참여자들을 대상으로 심층인터뷰를 진행하였다. 연구결과 ‘회색 빛 인생’, ‘든든한 울타리’,‘또래관계 자산’, ‘응원해 주는 어른들’, ‘다채로운 세상을 통한 경험자산’, ‘꿈 실현을 위한 사다리’, ‘변화된 존재’, ‘펼쳐진 꿈의 실현장’, ‘영향력의 재생산’ 등 9개의상위범주를 발견할 수 있었다. 본 연구결과를 통해 자산형성 지원사업은 청소년과 그 가족의 심리적안정감과 변화에 영향을 미치며 금전적 지원뿐 아니라 멘토 및 사례관리자와의 긍정적 관계, 다양한경험, 진로 지원 등이 통합적으로 제공 될 때 효과가 높고, 사업 종결 후에도 연구참여자들의 사회참여와 기여를 통해 그 영향력이 재생산됨을 발견할 수 있었다.

영문 초록

This qualitative study targets adolescents who have families with disabilities and examines their experiences of asset-building program called Yo-Sul. The present study first reviews literature on characteristics of adolescents whose families have disabilities and asset-building program. To gain a deeper understanding, this study conducted in-depth interviews on 10 individuals. The results identify 9 common themes emerged on participants’ experiences on asset-building program. Nine themes include ‘life in grey’ ‘reliable fence’ ‘peer relationship asset’ ‘supportive adults’‘experience as an asset’ ‘ladder to reach dream’ ‘changed individual’ ‘dreams achieved in life’ and ‘influence on reproduction.’ The results indicate that asset-building program contributes to adolescents’ and their families’ emotional change and stability. The study found the program more effective when it provides not only financial supports but also opportunities to experience and develop personal and career relationships. It was observed that the program effectiveness would be re-produced through participants’ social participation and contribution even after the program was terminated.
