국문 초록

최근 복잡하고 다양해지는 글로벌 경영환경으로 기업의 지속가능경영활동은 초미의 관심사가 되고 있다. 본 연구는 선행연구를 바탕으로 지속가능동인인 리더십, 지적자산, 제도적 요인이 지속가능경영활동에 어떠한 영향을 미치며, 지속 가능경영활동은 기업성과에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 분석하였다. 그리고 혁신유형이 지속가능경영활동과 기업성과 사이 에서 어떠한 조절역할을 하는지 보았다. 본 연구의 분석결과 첫째, 지속가능동인에 해당하는 제도적 요인, 지적자산, 리더십은 지속가능경영활동에 유의한 영향을 미쳤으며, 지속가능경영활동은 재무성과와 비재무성과 모두에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤다. 둘째, 지속가능동인과 재무성과 간의 관계에서 지속가능경영활동의 매개효과를 검증한 결과, 지속가능동 인은 지속가능경영활동에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 재무성과에도 유의한 영향을 주었다. 지속가능동인 인 지적자산, 리더십을 지속가능경영활동에 동시에 투입했을 때 지적자산과 리더십의 경우 영향력은 감소하였으며, 지속 가능경영활동은 재무성과에 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 매개변수인 지속가능경영활동은 지적자산, 리더십과 재무성과 간의 관계를 부분 매개하였다. 그러나 제도적요인과 지속가능경영활동을 동시에 투입했을 때 제도적 요인은 지속가능경영활동에 영향을 미치지 않았으며, 지속가능경영활동은 재무성과에 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 제도적 요인과 지속가능경영활동과의 관계에서는 지속가능경영활동이 제도적요인과 재무성과 간의 관계를 완전 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 지속가능동인과 비재무성과 간의 관계에서 지속가능경영활동의 매개효과를 검증한 결과, 지속가능동인은 비재무성과에도 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 지속가능 동인과 지속가능경영활동을 동시에 투입했을 때 지속가능동인의 영향력은 감소하였으며, 지속가능경영활동은 비재무성 과에 유의한 정의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 매개변수인 지속가능경영활동은 지속가능동인인 지 자산, 리더십, 제도적 요인과 비재무성과 간의 관계를 부분 매개하였다. 넷째, 혁신유형이 지속가능경영활동과 기업성과 사이에 서 조절효과를 지니는지를 보았다. 검증결과, 급진적 혁신유형에 가까울수록 지속가능경영활동은 기업성과에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다.

영문 초록

This study analyzed how sustainability drivers such as leadership, intellectual assets, and institutional factors affect sustainability management activities and how sustainability management activities affect corporate performance. In addition, I tried to see what kind of regulation role the innovation type plays between sustainability management activities and corporate performance. As a result of this study, First, Institutional factors, intellectual assets, and leadership that correspond to sustainability drivers had a significant impact on sustainability management activities, and sustainability management activities had a positive effect on both financial and non-financial performances. Second, as a result of verifying the mediating effect of sustainability management activities in the relationship between sustainability drivers and financial performance, it was found that sustainability drivers had a significant effect on sustainability management activities and had a significant effect on financial performance. When intellectual property, leadership, which are sustainability drivers, were simultaneously put into sustainability management activities, the impact of intellectual property and leadership decreased, and it was found that sustainability management activities had a significant positive effect on financial performance. Therefore, the sustainability parameter, which is a parameter, partially mediated the relationship between intellectual property, leadership, and financial performance. However, when the institutional factors and the sustainability management activities were simultaneously applied, the institutional factors did not affect the sustainability management activities, and the sustainability management activities was found to have a significant positive effect on financial performance. Therefore, in the relationship between institutional factors and sustainable management activities, it was found that sustainable management completely mediates the relationship between institutional factors and financial performance. Third, as a result of verifying the mediating effect of sustainable management activities in the relationship between sustainable drivers and non-financial performance, it was found that sustainable drivers have a significant effect on non-financial performance. However, when both sustainability drivers and sustainability management activities were put in simultaneously, the influence of the sustainability drivers decreased, and it was found that sustainability management activities had a significant positive effect on non-financial performance. Therefore, the sustainable management activities, a parameter, partially mediates the relationship between institutional factors and non-financial performance. Fourth, We looked at whether the innovation type had a moderating effect between sustainability management activities and corporate performance. As a result of the verification, it was confirmed that the closer to the radical innovation type, the more positive (+) impact of sustainability management activities on corporate performance.
