사후[제출 후 글쓰기] 튜터링의 중요성 제고

국문 초록

이 연구는 사후 튜터링의 현황과 그 필요성을 토대로 해당 글쓰기들의 특징을 분석하여 사후 튜터링의 중요성을 제고시키는 것을 목적으로 한다. 여기서 의미하는 사후 튜터링이란, 대학 글쓰기에서 요구하는 학습을 위한 글쓰기, 곧 교양 및 전공 교과 과정 등과 연계된 글쓰기가 ‘교강사에게 제출되었거나’[평가는 완료되지 않은 경우] 또는 이미 ‘평가되어진’[평가 완료] 이후의 글쓰기와 관련한 모든 튜터링을 의미한다. 사후 튜터링이 ‘제출된’ 글쓰기에 대한 피드백 요청이라는 점에서, 학습자의 적극적 글쓰기의 저변이 확보되는 동시에 학습자는 튜터의 판단 가치를 요구하기 때문에 이들의 심리를 잘 포착하는 것이 중요하다. 사후 튜터링을 요청한 학생들은 크게 ‘평가 전’의 글쓰기와 ‘평가 완료 후’의 글쓰기 유형으로 나뉠 수 있다. 이들의 공통점은 사전 튜터링을 요청한 학생들에 비해, 모두 수정하기의 동기부여가 취약하다. 형식적 측면에서는, 분량이 사전 튜터링 글쓰기보다 많은 것과 참고 자료 또는 시각 자료가 두드러지게 나타나는 것이 특징적이다. 이는 글쓰기를 대하는 학습자의 성실성 등의 태도적 측면과도 밀접하게 연관된다. 내용적 측면에서는, 논의 목적이나 주요 관점에 대한 제시 등이 비교적 적합하게 제시되고 있었는데, 학습자 스스로 무엇을 어떻게 말할 것인가에 대한 나름의 기준과 사고가 드러나고 있음을 살펴볼 수 있다. 그러므로 튜터는 사후 튜터링을 요청한 학생들의 글쓰기 경향에 기초하여, 효과적인 대응 방안을 모색해야 한다. 곧 글쓰기 제출의 유무가 학생 개개인의 글쓰기 향상으로부터 결코 주요한 문제가 될 수 없음을 인지시키고, 학습자가 주력하고 있는 부분을 드러내어 칭찬하고 독려해야 한다. 또 튜터는 사후 튜터링을 통해, 학습자가 해당 글쓰기를 지속적으로 연장·확장시킬 수 있도록 수정하기로의 필연적 동기부여를 강조해야만 한다. 결국 사후 튜터링은 또 다른 사전 튜터링을 의미할 수 있으며, 학습자 스스로의 글쓰기 점검과 사유 확장의 계기가 된다는 점, 그리고 능동적 글쓰기의 주체자로 거듭날 수 있는 주요한 지점이 될 수 있다는 점에서 그 의미를 찾을 수 있다.

영문 초록

It is the purpose of this project to analyze the intend and tendency of the student requesting the submitted writing assignment tutoring, to find the efficient method with which the tutor support tutoring. The meaning of the submitted writing assignment tutoring in this project is all tutoring concerned with the writing to learn the method needed for Univ writing, in other words concerned with the Univ writing presented to lecturer or already evaluated. In the point that the submitted writing assignment tutoring is the request of feedback about reported writing, it is important to catch out the intend of the students so that the base of students positive writing is confirmed and the students ask the decision value of tutor. The students require the submitted writing assignment tutoring are divided by the writing of before assessment and after assessment . The weakness of motivation for revision is the commons of this students in comparison with the students require before tutoring. In the point of format, it is remarkable that the amount is much more than before tutored writing and reference data/optical data appears prominently. This is related to the attitude of students sincerity. In the point of contents, the proposal about the purpose of discussion or main point of view is comparatively well shown. This means that students have their own standards and thoughts. Therefore, the tutor must find the effective countermeasure, based on the writing tendency of students requiring the submitted writing assignment tutoring. So, the tutor must concentrate on the point that the students considered importantly, praise and encourage it. And throughout the submitted writing assignment tutoring, the tutor must concentrate on the students motivation for consistent extension and expansion of writing.
