국문 초록

연구계획서는 논문 쓰기의 시작점으로서, 연구 가치를 평가받고 연구 수행의 가능성을 보여주는 첫 번째 자료로서 그 가치가 매우 크다. 그럼에도 불구하고 지금까지 연구계획서를 중점적으로 다룬 논의가 없었고, 실제 외국인 대학원생을 위한 학문 목적 쓰기 교수 현장에서 활용할 수 있는 자료도 불충분했다. 이에 본고에서는 외국인 대학원생 대상의 학문 목적 쓰기 교육에서 연구계획서가 매우 중요하게 다루어져야 한다는 관점에서, 연구계획서의 특성을 검토하고 연구계획서 지도 방안을 모색하였다. 그리고 연구계획서 지도 시 주요하게 다루어야 할 내용으로, 크게 연구계획서의 유형(장르), 구성 요소(의미론적 단위), 언어 사용(담화 표지, 표현)을 제안하였다. 외국인 대학원생들이 연구계획서 쓰기를 하려면 먼저 어떤 목적(보고서, 학위논문, 학회 발표)으로 쓰는지 알아야 하고, 연구계획서에 무엇을 반영해야 하는지(연구 목적, 필요성, 방법, 의의 등)에 대한 지식이 있어야 한다. 또한 연구계획서 쓰기에 적절한 언어 표현을 선택하는 능력이 요구된다. 이를 바탕으로 본고에서는 연구계획서 쓰기 지도의 단계별 방안을 제시하고 수업에서 활용할 수 있는 자료를 구성해 보았다.

영문 초록

Proposal is essential as both the starting point to writing a thesis paper and as the first primary document to be evaluated for its research value and to display its possibility to be conducted. Nevertheless, there has neither been a discussion that has significantly and centrally dealt with proposal as of yet nor been a sufficient amount of practical information basis to be applied in KAP writing education site for international graduate students. Thus, in this paper, the characteristics of proposal have been overviewed and a proposal writing guide investigated from a perspective that proposal is important to the education of KAP writing for international graduated students. As the contents to be primarily dealt with in research proposal writing education, majorly proposal writing type(genre), component(semantic unit), and language use(discourse marker) has been suggested. For international graduates to formulate a proposal writing, firstly the knowledge behind the purpose of writing (term paper, dissertation, conference presentation) and what must be reflected within proposal writing(research objective, value, significance, methodology, etc) must be present. Moreover, in proposal writing, the ability to select appropriate linguistic expressions is required. With such as the background, this article has presented a step-by-step guide and organized a data that can be applied in teaching.
