국문 초록

이 글은 ‘원한 갚으려 태어난 자식’ 이야기들에 드러난 부모의 특징을 분석하여 자식에 대한 날카로운 경계심 및 과잉된 동일시 문제에 대해 논의하였다. 그것은 이야기에서 젠더적 특성을 드러내 보이고 있는데 작품 속 부모의 역할이나 전승주체의 성별과도 관련되었다. 이러한 문제는 우리가 ‘부모’의 입장에서 자녀를 대할 때의 고민과 두려움을 구체적으로 드러내며 우리 사회가 각각 아버지와 어머니에게 강요했던 책임과 의무들로 양육자에 대한 억압들이라고 할 수 있다. 그리고 ‘원한 갚으려 태어난 자식’ 중에서는 이 사회가 요구하는 부모의 역할에서 탈주하는 이야기도 존재했다. <커서도 어머니 젖 빠는 아들>은 모성을 여성의 본능으로 간주하며 숭고한 어머니의 자비와 희생을 강요했던 ‘모성 억압’의 문제를 다루면서, 동시에 자식에 대한 ‘혐오’의 감정을 허용하는 구비설화이다. ‘원수자식’이라는 문학적 장치를 통해 인간의 원초적 감정과 그 자연성의 해방구를 탐색할 수 있는데, 이는 문명사회가 허용하지 않는 인간 실존의 원초적 감정들을 노골적으로 그려내면서 우리를 죄의식이라는 지옥에서 빠져나오게 하는 구비설화의 문학적 상상력이라고 할 수 있다.

영문 초록

This article looked at the meaning of gender in the stories of “The Enemy Born As My Child”, and discussed excessive alertness and overidentification reflected in the narrative flow. It was embodied in the Oral Folktale with vigilance, fear, and overidentification of the child, and such the meaning of gender was related to the role of the parent in the work or the sex of the subject. These issues concretely reveal the concerns and fears of dealing with children from the perspective of “parents”. And these are the responsibilities and duties that our society imposed on fathers and mothers. And among the “The Enemy Born As My Child”, there was also a story about breaking out of the role of parents that this society demands. shows the way of another narrative. This story is a verbal story that considers motherhood as a woman s instinct and examines the problem of Oppressed Motherhood, which forced the mercy and sacrifice of a noble mother, and allows the Hate Emotion of children. Through the literary device of “The Enemy Born As My Child”, we were able to explore the primitive emotions of human beings and the liberation of its natural nature, which hell of us as a guilty guilt by expressing the primal emotions of human existence that civilized society does not allow. It can be said that it is the literary imagination of the oral story that leads to escape from.
