국문 초록

목적: 자폐 스펙트럼 장애 아동의 라이트 박스 훈련이감각처리 및 작업에 미치는 영향을 밝히고자 하였다. 방법: 본 연구는 단일 대상 연구로 행동간 중다 기초선설계를 적용하였다. 중재는 주의집중, 소근육, 변별에 대한라이트 박스 훈련으로 진행하였다. 기초선과 중재기의 모든회기에서 각 과제 기반 영역에 대한 평가를 실시하였으며, 사전·사후 평가로 감각처리, 놀이, 사회성숙도에 대한 평가를 실시하였다. 각 회기의 평가와 사전·사후 평가 결과는시각적 분석과 경향선 분석을 통해 중재 효과를 입증하였다. 결과: 회기별 평가 결과, 주의집중·소근육·변별 영역에서 기초선에 비해 중재기에 평균 점수가 증가하여 경향선의기울기가 급격하게 증가하였다. 중재 전후 평가 결과, 전반적발달 연령은 일정하게 유지되었으며, 감각처리-감각요소(낮은 지구력/근긴장도)의 감각 처리 능력이 증가하였으며, 놀이와 사회성숙도의 중재 점수가 증가하였다. 결론: 자폐 스펙트럼 아동의 라이트 박스 훈련은 감각처림및 작업의 수행에 긍정적인 영향을 주었으며, 작업치료의적용 가능성을 확인하였다.

영문 초록

We examined the effects of Light Box training on sensory processing, play and occupation of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. This is a single-subject study with a design of multiple-baseline across behaviors. The intervention proceeded with Light Box training for attention, fine motor, and discrimination. The assessment of each task-based area was carried out at all sessions of the baseline and intervention period, and the assessment of sensory processing, play, and social maturity was conducted through pre- and post-evaluation. The evaluation results of each session and the pre-post evaluation results were compared through visual analysis and trend line analysis. In the results of each session evaluation, the inclination of the trend line increased drastically in the attention, fine motor, and discrimination, because the average score increased during the intervention period compared to the baseline. In the results of the pre-post evaluation, the pervasive developmental age remained constant, while scores of the sensory processing-sensory factor(low endurance/ton) as well as play and social maturity increased. Light Box training on children on the autism spectrum had a positive effect on the sensory treatment and work performance and confirmed the applicability of occupational therapy.
