국문 초록

인공지능(AI), 빅데이터, 사물인터넷(IoT), 로봇 등의 기술이 나노기술(NT), 바이오기술(BT), 정보기술(IT), 인지과학(CS) 등과 융합되어 사회와 경제에 급진적인 변화를 가져오는 제4차 산업혁명의 시대에 들어섰다. 교육제도도 이러한 시대의 변화에 맞도록 변화되어야 한다. 4차 산업혁명의 시대에서 학교제도는 학교와 개인에게 재량권을 부여하고, 학교의 단계를 연령이 아닌 학습능력과 학습정도에 따라 구분하고 단계별 수업연한도 신축적으로 운영하여야 한다. 의무교육도 학교에서의 교육이 아닌 일정한 수준의 교육의무로 개념전환이 이루어져야 하고, 학교 이외의 교육에도 무상교육이 이뤄질 수 있어야 한다. 평생교육제도도 강화하고 국가가 적극적으로 지원하여야 한다. 4차 산업혁명의 시대에는 교육소외계층이 더욱 늘어나고 교육기회의 불균등이 심화될 수 있으므로 이를 방지하기 위하여 교육소외계층에 대한 교육복지제도 마련되어야 한다.

영문 초록

We are in the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution which brings radical change through fusion Artificial Intelligence (AI), Big Data, Internet of Things (IoT), Robots, etc. The education system must also be changed to meet the changes of this era. The school system grants discretion to schools and individuals, and classifies school stages according to learning ability and degree of learning, not age in the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. And Class Length of each stages should be flexible. Compulsory education should be converted to a certain level of educational obligation, not school education. Free education should be provided for compulsory education other than school. States should strengthen and actively support the lifelong education system like school system. In the era of the 4th Industrial Revolution, the marginalized class of education and the inequality of educational opportunities may deepen. In order to prevent this, educational welfare system for the underprivileged should be established.
