국문 초록

이 연구는 Drake의 KDB 모형을 적용하여 농업과 식생활 영역의 통합적 접근 방법을 제안한 것이다. 최근의 학교 교육 경향은 교육과정의 충실도 관점에서 벗어나 교사가 교과서 없이 교육과정의 성취기준 중심으로 수업하는 창의적 접근 방법을 선호하고 있는데 그 과정 속에서 학문 영역 간 통합이 자연스럽게 일어나고 있다. 실과 역시도 통합을 지향하는 교과로 실과에서 최근 통합 대상으로 주목받고 있는 영역은 ‘농업’과 ‘식생활’이다. 이는 농업과 식생활이 ‘먹거리’를 매개로 하여 태생적으로 연결되어 있기 때문이다. 이에 이 연구에서는 KDB 모형을 ‘교육과정 분석’, ‘교육과정 조망’, ‘통합 단원 개발’의 3단계로 재구조화하여 농업과 식생활 영역의 통합적 접근 방법을 제안하였다. 교육과정 분석 단계에서는 성취기준을 ‘알 수 있는 것’ 과 ‘할 수 있는 것’으로 분석하여 계열화했다. 교육과정 조망 단계에서는 분석된 성취기준를 종횡으로 나누어 연결하는 내용 조망을 하였다. 통합 단원 개발 단계에서는 KDB 우산을 활용하여 간 학문적인 통합을 수행하였다. 이 연구의 결과로 기대되는 효과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 농업과 식생활 영역 통합의 알고리즘을 제시함으로써 두 영역 간 통합 가능성을 촉진 시킬 것이다. 둘째, 농업과 식생활 영역 통합 수업의 예시를 제시함으로써 교육현장에서 농업과 식생활 영역 통합 수업의 실현 가능성을 높일 것이다. 셋째, 교육과정 중심의 통합 모형을 제시함으로써 실과교육 내 다른 영역 간 통합에 기여할 것이다.

영문 초록

This study suggests an integrated approach to agricultural and dietary education applying Drake s KDB model. In recent years, the tendency of school education has shifted from the viewpoint of fidelity of curriculum, and teachers prefer creative approach to teaching curriculum achievement standards without textbooks. Recently, the areas of attention for integration are agriculture and dietary in practical arts. This is because agriculture and dietary are linked through eating . In this study, we proposed an integrated approach of agriculture and dietary education by restructuring KDB model into three steps of curriculum analysis, curriculum perspective, and integrated approach. First, in the curriculum analysis stage, the achievement standards were analyzed and sequenced. At the stage of the curriculum perspective, the analyzed achievement standards were divided into longitudinal and horizontal connections. In the integrated approach phase, the KDB umbrella model was used to perform interdisciplinary integration. The expected effects of this study are as follows. First, it will promote the integration possibility between the two areas by presenting the algorithm of integration of agriculture and dietary education. Second, it will increase the possibility of integrating agriculture and eating habits in the field by suggesting an example of integrated agriculture and eating habits. Third, by presenting an integrated model centered on curriculum, it can contribute to the integration of other areas within practical education.
