국문 초록

본 논문은 도시의 지속가능성과 발전적 미래를 위해 도시 문화콘텐츠를 활용하여 도시정체성 정립의 필요성을 인식하고, 지역문화자원의 다양성과 경쟁력 제고를 위해 지역정체성을 강화하는데 목적이 있다. 도시 문화콘텐츠를 장소와 인물, 전통문화유산, 축제문화, 다문화와 교육으로 세분화하였으며, 성공적인 도시문화 콘텐츠 대상에 대한 사례를 중심으로 도시의 정체성 확립의 대안을 찾고자 하였다. 본 논문의 연구수행 범위를 네 개 분야의 문화콘텐츠로 대상화 한 것은, 도시정체성 정립에 시민들이 공통적으로 공감하고 기억하는 장소와 인물, 전통, 축제와 같은 유·무형적 자산이 필수요소로 사료되었기 때문이다. 또한 다문화와 교육을 문화콘텐츠의 대상으로 삼은 것은 해마다 외국인의 유입으로 다문화비율이 높아지는 현 상황과 교육과 지식의 반감기가 짧아지는 인공지능시대에 시민교육이 도시의 정체성 정립에 중요한 변수라고 생각했기 때문이다.

영문 초록

This paper explored the importance of establishing the urban identity and how it is needed for sustainability of the city and its progressive future. In order to strengthen regional identity by increasing the diversity and competitiveness of local cultural resources, we divided it into places and people, traditional cultural heritage, festival culture, multiculturalism and education, and sought to find alternative ways around cases of successful urban cultural contents. The research scope of this paper has been targeted as cultural contents in four fields because the places that citizens share and remember in common in establishing the urban identity, as well as tangible and intangible assets such as people, traditions and festivals, were considered essential elements. In addition, multiculturalism and education were targeted at cultural contents because they thought civil education was an important variable in establishing the urban identity in an era of artificial intelligence, where the ratio of multiculturalism increases every year due to the influx of foreigners and the half-life of education and knowledge is shortened.
