결혼이주여성의 한국어와 한국문화 교육방안 연구

국문 초록

결혼이주여성에게 한국문화 교육을 할 때는 전통문화와 일상문화 중 어느 것을 먼저 택하느냐는 과제가 남는다. 이 경우, 전통문화에 앞서 일상문화부터 다루어 일상생활에 무리 없이 적응하며 한국어를 익히게 하는 것이 효과적이다. 그런데 전통문화와 일상문화를 동시에 익힐 수 있는 텍스트들이 있다. 또한 사용하는 어휘는 쉽고 편한 일상의 언어이기 때문에 한국어를 배우는데도 도움이 된다. 동화는 전래동화와 창작동화로 나눌 수 있다. 전래동화는 대부분 작자 미상의 형태로, 민간의 입을 통해 전해 내려온 민담·민화 성격의 구전동화가 대부분이다. 전래동화 속에는 민족 고유의 사고와 전통윤리, 가치관이 면면히 숨 쉬고 있다. 반면, 창작동화는 전래동화가 지닌 주제와 형식의 제한적 틀에서 벗어나 광범위하고도 일상적인 창작환경 속에서 다양한 세계를 추구한다. 전래동화는 문학적 가치보다도 사회적 담론과 메시지 전달에 주력하지만 창작동화는 기본적으로 문학적 작품성을 바탕삼아 사회적 교훈이나 메시지를 제시한다. 한국의 문학 작품 중 한국의 문화를 다룬 책들은 많다. 그러나 결혼이주여성에게 맞는 책을 구하기란 쉽지 않다. 특히 초급학습자들에게 읽힐 책들은 흔치 않다. 이 부분에서 동화는 그 대안으로 제시된다. 그 중 초급 학습자에게는 저학년 동화가 적합하다고 볼 수 있다. 안수자의 『단자요!』는 이러한 요건을 고루 갖추고 있다. 현재의 일상어로 한국의 전통문화를 다룬 저학년 창작 동화로 쉽고 간결하면서도 어휘 선택과 문법 등 어법에 충실한 작품이기 때문이다. 결혼이주여성들이 한국의 전통문화와 일상문화, 한국어를 쉽고 재미있게 익힐 수 있게 한다. 또한 소재는 전통 문화지만 현재의 시점에서 전통문화를 주제로 친구와 가족들의 관계를 조명하고 있기에 전통문화뿐 아니라 현재의 일상 문화도 함께 익힐 수 있는 이점이 있다. 한국어 학습 측면에서 보면 저학년용 창작동화의 쉽고 간결한 문장과 구성은 결혼이주여성에게 적합한 텍스트다. 본 연구는 이 부분에 역점을 두고 실제 책 속의 예문을 활용해 교수-학습 요목을 제시했다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to find how to educate Korean language and Korean culture to marriage migrant women. In educating Korean culture to marriage migrant women, it is a very important task which to choose first between traditional culture and every day culture. In this case, it is very effective to educate them every day culture prior to traditional culture, making them learn the Korean language and adjust themselves to every day life naturally. There are many texts which help to learn traditional culture and every day culture simultaneously. Also, the vocabulary used in the texts is easy, and belongs to every day life language. So it is very helpful to learn the Korean language. Fairy tales can be divided into traditional fairy tales and creative fairy tales. Most of traditional fairy tales are anonymous, and are handed down orally. The tales include people’s inherent thinking, traditional ethics, and values. On the contrary, creative fairy tales tend to escape the limited pattern of traditional fairy tales’ theme and form, and pursue various worlds in the environment of comprehensive and every day life. Traditional fairy tales concentrate on social discourse and message communication more than on cultural values. while creative fairy tales basically present social lessons and messages on the basis of literary value. Many Korean literary works treat Korean culture. However, it is not easy to find suitable books to marriage migrant women, especially to beginning level learners. Here, fairy tales can be an alternative, and low level fairy tales are suitable to beginning level learners. Ahn Sooja’s Danjayo! has all the above mentioned requirements. The book is low level creative fairy tales which deal with traditional culture, and which is easy and faithful in vocabulary and grammar. Using the book, marriage migrant women can learn easily and interestingly Korean traditional culture, every day life culture, and Korean language at the same time. The materials of the book are those of traditional culture. However, the book casts light upon the relationship between friends and family members from the point of present, so it has merits to learn both traditional culture and current every day culture together. From side of Korean language learning, the book is a very suitable text for marriage migrant women, because it belongs to a creative fairy tales composed of easy and brief sentences for low level learners. This study concentrates put emphasis on this point, and presented a teaching-learning plan using the sample sentences from the book.
