영문 초록

This paper investigates an aspect of the ancient chinese initial Shànmu(禪母) and Xiému(邪母) which was received in the ancient korean. The data used in the study are the different transcription of proper nouns and Hyangchal(written chinese characters in the Silla s folk song) and Idu(written chinese characters in ancient documents) and Sino-Korean. Sino-Korean have various stratum by the time of import. Idu was fixed long time ago. Therefore its reading sounds are very old. If we compare with these dates, we can understand as followings. Shànmu(禪母) and Xiému(邪母) are reading with fricative in these days, but it s were read by an affricate in ancient sino-korean. If we consult the chinese phonological history, we know that affricate sounds correspond with voiced initial of ancient chinese.
