입암 소재 시가의 배경과 성격

국문 초록

경상북도 포항시에 위치하는 입암은 16세기말 여헌 장현광과 문하생들이 명명하였다. 16세기 말 이후 지금까지 입암28경은 많은 시의 소재가 되었다. 그 시대에는 한시의 방향을 이끌어가던 성리학적 세계관을 표현하였으나 몇몇 시인들은 다른 관점을 보여주었다. 입암 28경은 성리학적 가르침, 도교적 금욕주의, 아름다운 경관 감상 등의 특별한 특징을 보여준다. 입암의 시인들은 한국문학사에서 풍성하게 보이는 미감에서 우러나온 한시를 창작하였다. 입암은 그 명명 이후 자연미를 간직해왔다. 또한 격변하는 한국사 가운데 입암은 애국활동의 근거지가 되었다. 이와 같은 이유들로, 입암은 역사적, 교육적 장소로 시민들에게 홍보되어야 한다. 이를 통하여 입암을 차별화하는 것뿐 아니라 문화생활의 공간이 부족한 포항시민들에게 교육의 기능과 휴식의 장소로 제공할 수 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

Ipam(立巖), located at KyungSangBuk-do, Pohang-si Ipam-ri has been named by Yuh Hun Jang Hyun Kyang(旅軒 張顯光) and his pupils at the end of 16th century. From the end of 16th century until present, Ipam 28 sites (立巖二十八景) has been the subject matter of many poetries. At that time it expressed the worldview of confucianism that led the direction of many poems, but there was some difference between few poet s point of views that has shown some creativeness. Each and every scenery of Ipam has special characteristics of Confucianism teachings, Taoist monasticism, beautiful scenery appreciation. The poets at Ipam composed their poems out of their experience within the beautifulness that showed a plenteous enrichment in the history of Korean Literature. Since the naming of Ipam, it maintains the natural beauty. Also in the sudden change of Korean history Ipam served as the activity background for the patriotic activity. For all the reasons stated above, Ipam should be advertised to the citizens and be developed as a historical and educational site. This will serve not only to distinguish Ipam, it will also serve as a function for education and a nice place to rest for the citizen of Pohang who doesn t have many space for cultural life.
