국문 초록

본 논문은 다국적 기업에 대한 심층적인 사례연구를 통해 다양한 조직학습 활동이 어떻게 자원기반이 론에서 강조하는 인적자원의 경쟁력을 향상시켜서 재무적 성과가 침체된 기업을 회생시켰는지를 분석하였다. 본 연구에서는 2006년 새로운 경영진의 취임 이후 비.브라운 아시아 태평양 지역본부에서 실행된 다양한 조직 변화의 내용을 분석하였다. 사례연구 결과에 의하면 학습 조직을 근간으로 이를 구축하고자 하는 리더의 적극적인 의지와 새로운 성과평가 시스템이 일관성 있게 조화를 이루면서 조직 문화를 바꾸었고 최종적으로는 조직의 성과를 지속적으로 개선시키는 긍정적인 결과를 가져왔다.

영문 초록

By using a case study approach, this paper aims to relate how a firm, based on the resourcebased view, recognized the strategic importance of its human resources which led to the implementation of various organizational learning initiatives to develop human competencies to turnaround the stagnant financial performance. This paper traces the organizational change initiatives in B. Braun Company across the Asia region since 2006 under the new leadership. It demonstrated the commitment of leadership to develop a learning organization whereby performance management systems were aligned to promote the desired organizational culture which ultimately brings sustainability to the organization performance.
