三言 속 懷才不遇한 文人의 소설화와 현대적 수용 고찰

국문 초록

본고는 ‘삼언 역사인물의 현대적 수용 양상 연구’라는 대주제의 일환으로 ‘懷才不遇한 文人’을 소재로 한 작품군을 연구함에 있어서, 선행연구에서 살펴본 당인에 이어 소설 속 인물로 탄생한 세 문인 李白·王勃·柳永이 역사와 문학의 경계를 넘어서 현대에 이르기까지 중국 대중들에게 회자되는 현상에 대해 고찰하였다. 삼언 역사인물 중 회재불우했던 이 네 문인은 ‘역사인물’에서 ‘허구적 인물’로 변모하였고, 정도의 차이는 있지만 현대에 이르기까지 중국 대중들에게 사랑받는 대중적 아이콘으로 변모해왔다. 필자는 이러한 대중적 현상을 당인의 경우에는 ‘풍류’라는 키워드를 통해 분석한 바 있고, 이백·왕발·유영의 경우에는 ‘신선’이라는 키워드를 통해 분석하고자 하였다. 역사인물, 특히 삼언 속 역사인물은 명대까지 이어 온 허구적 재창작의 훌륭한 원천이었고, 현대에 이르기까지 대중의 문화 소비와 향유의 다양한 자산으로 변모해왔다. 그중에서도 이백·왕발·유영과 같은 문인은 각자가 살았던 시대의 자아상과는 별개로, 후세의 작가와 대중이 느끼는 그들에 대한 연민과 애정이 ‘신선’이라는 도교적 색채로 덧씌워지기도 하고, 의협과 사랑꾼과 같은 작위적 창작의 소재가 되기도 하여 현대의 대중과 공존하고 있다.

영문 초록

This paper contemplated the phenomenon that in studying the works having the material of ‘Talented but unfortunate literary figures’ as a part of main topic of ‘Research on Comtemporary Accommodation Pattern of Historic Figures in San-Yan,’ the three literary figures of Li-Bai, Wang-Bo and Liu-Yong who were born as a character of novel followed by Tang Yin examined in preceding research, are cited by Chinese public even today beyond the boundary of history and literature. These 4 talented but unfortunate literary figures out of the historic figures in San-Yan were transformed from the historic figure to the fictional character and have been transformed as public icon loved by Chinese public to today although there is difference in the degree. The writer has analyzed the this public phenomenon with the keyword of ‘taste of arts (Pungryu)’ in case of Tang Yin and would like to analyze with the keyword of ‘celestial being’ in case of Li-Bai, Wang-Bo and Liu-Yong. The historic figures, particularly the historic figures in San-Yan, have been great source of fictional reproduction that has been continued to Ming Dynasty and have been transformed as diverse assets of consuming and enjoying the culture by public to today. Among them, in case of the literary figures like Li-Bai, Wang-Bo and Lui-Yong, the sympathy and the affection that the artists and the public of later generations felt, apart from the self-image of the times that each of them has live, were used to be covered with taoist color of celestial being (Sinseon) and to become a material of artificial creation like chivalry and romantist, and coexist with the contemporary public
