국문 초록

이 글은 문화융합 시대 서사 교육이 처한 상황을 짚어보고, 이러한 변화 속에서 서사 교육이 나아가야 할 방향을 제시하고자 하였다. 서사 양식은 대화적 성격을 지닌 양식라는 점에서 문화융합 시대 교양교육의 특징을 가장 잘 드러낼 수 있는 양식이다. 서사 양식이 문화융합 시대의 교양교육의 새로운 가능성을 드러내기 위해서는 이러한 대화 문화를 극대화할 수 있는 방안을 모색해야 한다. 서사 양식이 문화융합 시대 교양과목으로 새로운 가능성을 지니려면 서사양식이 중심이 된 다양한 융합 교양과목을 개발하는 것이 필요하다. 이를 위해 이 글에서는 공학과 인문학의 융합과목으로 ‘테크놀로지와 서사’를 제안하였다. ‘테크놀로지와 서사’의 내용 요소로는 미디어와 서사의 관련 양상, 테크놀로지의 발달에 따른 서사 양식의 변화, 그리고 디지털 스토리텔링과 관련된 현상들, 과학서사의 창작 활동 등이 포함될 수 있다

영문 초록

This paper aims to examine the situation in which narrative education lies in this era of convergence of culture and then suggest the direction that narrative education should pursue within this change. At the point that the narrative genre has dialogic characteristics, it is the genre that can show the characteristics of liberal education in this era of convergence of culture most distinctively. It is needed to find out ways to maximize that dialogic culture in order to expose the new possibility of the narrative genre for liberal education in this era of convergence of culture. It is necessary to develop a variety of convergent courses for liberal education centering around the narrative genre so that the narrative genre can exhibit its new possibility as a course for liberal education in this era of convergence of culture. For this, the paper suggests ‘technology and narrative’ as a convergent course of engineering and the humanities. As the contents of ‘technology and narrative’, it may include aspects of how media are related with narrative, changes in the narrative genre according to the development of technology, phenomena related with digital storytelling, or creative activities of science narrative.
