코칭리더십 연구동향 분석

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 국내 학술지에서 발표된 코칭리더십 관련 연구를 분석하여 코칭리더십 연구동향을 탐색하는 것이다. 이를 위하여 2009년부터 2018년까지 국내 학술지에 게재된 학술논문 중 학술연구정보서비스(http://www.riss.kr)의 국내 학술지 논문 상세검색 기능을 사용하였다. 주제어를 ‘코칭리더십’ 및 관련 주제어인 ‘리더의 코칭행동’과 ‘관리자의 코칭행동’으로 검색하였다. 그리고 총 65편을 대상으로 연구년도, 게재 학술지, 연구대상, 연구주제, 연구방법, 관련변인 등을 분석의 틀로 하여 연구동향을 분석하였다. 분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 코칭리더십을 주제로 연구를 진행한 논문은 2010년부터 발행되었고 그 후 2011년부터 조금씩 증가하여 2015년부터는 발행된 논문수가 크게 증가하여 활성화 되었다. 둘째, 코칭리더십 논문을 학술지별로 분류한 결과 ‘코칭연구’에서 발표된 논문이 가장 많았다. 셋째, 연구대상에 따른 분석에서는 일반기업종사자를 대상으로 하는 연구가 가장 높게 나타났다. 넷째, 연구방법에 따른 분석 결과 주로 양적연구를 실시한 것으로 나타났다. 다섯째, 관련변인 분석 결과 코칭관련 변인은 독립변인에 많이 사용되었으며, 코칭외변인은 종속변인과 매개변인/조절변인에 많이 사용되고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 코칭리더십 관련 연구의 경향과 방향 등에 대한 시사점을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to explore the trends in coaching leadership research by analyzing domestic academic journals related to research about coaching leadership. To do this, we used the detailed search function of domestic academic journals in the academic research information service (http://www.riss.kr) for academic papers published in domestic journals from 2009 to 2018. The key search words were ‘coaching leadership’, and other related keywords were ‘leader s coaching behavior’ and ‘manager s coaching behavior’. Furthermore, a total of 65 subjects were analyzed with the research year, published journals, research themes, research subjects, research methods, and related variables. The results of the analysis are as follows. First, the research on coaching leadership has been published since 2010, and since then it has been increasing steadily since 2011, and then, since 2015, the number of papers published has greatly increased. Second, the ‘Journal of Korean Coaching Research’ was the most common source of coaching leadership papers by academic journals. Third, the analysis based on research targets showed that studies conducted on ordinary business owners was the highest. Fourth, analysis of the research methods showed that quantitative studies were the main and most common research methodology. Finally, the analysis of relevant variables showed that coaching-related variables were used a lot for independent variables, while coaching outsiders were often used for dependent and mediating/moderating variables. Based on these results, implications for the research feasibility and direction of future research related to coaching leadership were suggested.
