국문 초록

중국고대소설연구의 초석을 놓았다고 평가되는 루쉰은 생전에 몇 가지 분야에 걸쳐 뚜렷한 발자취를 남겼다. 《중국소설사략》은 그 가운데 가장 중요한 업적이라 할 수 있는데, 이를 위해 루쉰은 장기간에 걸친 준비 작업을 진행하였다. 한편 루쉰의 생애를 전체적으로 보았을 때 중국고대소설 연구는 주로 초기에 집중되었다. 이후는 주로 전투적인 ‘잡문’ 글쓰기에 몰두하느라 소설 창작과 고대소설 연구는 상대적으로 소홀했지만, 그럼에도 루쉰은 중국고대소설 연구를 필생의 사업으로 여겨 죽을 때까지 이에 관해 적지 않은 글들을 남겼다. 여기서 소개한 것들은 바로 이렇게 루쉰이 남긴 수많은 글들 가운데 중국고대소설과 관련 있는 항목들을 정리한 것들이다. 이것들은 주로 루쉰이 잡지사의 요청으로 쓴 글들이나 다른 학자들과의 논쟁을 정리해 간헐적으로 발표한 것들이다. 따라서 이 글들은 전문적인 논문이라기보다는 사안에 따라 루쉰이 자신의 견해를 밝힌 것에 불과하지만, 그의 《사략》 편찬과 밀접한 관련이 있고, 해당 내용들은 대부분 《사략》에 반영되어 있다. 아울러 여기서 다루고 있는 루쉰의 글들은 내용상 다음의 세 가지 부류로 나눌 수 있다. 첫 번째는 육조와 당, 송 시기의 소설에 대한 논의들이다. 두 번째는 《삼장취경기 三藏取经记》 판본의 시기 문제에 대한 것이다. 세 번째는 당시 새로 발굴된 《유선굴 游仙窟》에 대한 소개와 기타 자료에 대한 비판과 소개의 글들이다. 이 글에서는 이러한 분류에 따라 각각의 사항들을 소개하고 분석할 것이다.

영문 초록

Lu Xun who was highly regarded as a founder of the research of Chinese ancient novels left a clear mark through several kinds of area in his entire life. The Brief History of Chinese Novels can be the most significant achievement. Lu Xun prepared a lot for this over time. Meanwhile his research of Chinese ancient novels was concentrated on his early life. Since then Lu Xun had been mainly immersed in writing of combative prose, so neglected writing of novel and research of Chinese ancient novels. Nevertheless Lu Xun regarded the research of Chinese ancient novels as his life’s work and wrote a lot to his death occasionally. All of his writings introduced in this thesis are to arrange the items related to Chinese ancient novels. These were mostly written to meet the magazine’s request or to arrange arguments with other scholars. Thus these writings are just not so much specialized papers as his opinions to respond to the issues. However these are closely related to write his Brief History of Chinese Novels and the pertinent contents are mostly reflected to it. Besides his writings are classified according to tis contents as below; First, discussions concerning to the novels in Six Dynasties and Tang, Song dynasty. Second, the period of editions of Da Tang Sanzang Qu Jing Ji. Third, criticism and introduction to You Xian Ku and other items. This thesis will introduce and analyze each things according to this classification.
