국문 초록

본 연구는 비디오 모델링을 활용한 학교생활 안전교육이 특수학교 초등 발달장애학생의 학교생활 안전지식과 안전행동에 미치는 효과를 알아보았다. 이를 위해 특수학교의 초등 저학년 발달장애학생 20명(실험집단과 통제집단 각 10명)이 연구에 참여하였으며 실험집단에게는 5가지 내용 영역(복도․계단, 교실, 식당, 체육 활동 특별실, 학교 버스)에 따라 총 14회기로 구성된 비디오 모델링을 활용한 학교생활 안전교육을 실시하였다. 안전교육 참여가 연구 참여자들의 학교생활 안전지식과 안전행동에 미치는 영향을 조사하기 위해 중재 전․후 두 집단에게 실시한 안전지식과 안전행동 사전, 사후 검사점수의 변화를 각각 독립표본 t 검정과 점수 변화 그래프를 통해 확인하였다. 그 결과 첫째, 비디오 모델링을 활용한 학교생활 안전교육은 특수학교 초등 저학년 발달장애학생의 학교 생활 안전지식 향상에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤으며, 둘째, 특수학교 초등 저학년 발달장애 학생의 안전행동에도 긍정적인 변화를 나타냈다. 이와 같은 연구 결과를 토대로 비디오 모델링을 활용한 학교생활 안전교육의 긍정적인 영향과 관련된 요인들을 살펴보고 향후 연구방향에 대한 제언을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of school life safety instruction using video modeling on their school safety knowledge and safety behaviors of elementary school students with developmental disabilities in special school. The participants of this study were 20 students(10 students in the experimental and control groups respectively) with developmental disabilities who were in the first and the second grade in special school. The experimental group was provided with school safety instruction using video modeling consisting of 14 sessions across 5 areas(hallway and stairs, classrooms, restaurants, physical activity classroom, and school bus). To investigate the effects of school life safety instruction using video modeling, two independent t-test was conducted for knowledge of school safety. School safety behaviors of students in the experimental group were examined through a graph of score change. The results of this study were as follows: First, school life safety instruction using video modeling had a positive effect on improvement of school life safety knowledge of students with developmental disabilities in the elementary special school. Second, school life safety instruction using video modeling had a positive change in school life safety behaviors of the students with developmental disabilities. Based on the results, implications of the findings and suggestions for future studies were discussed.
