북한어 사역 (私譯) 신약 성경들 (『새누리성경』, 『하나님의 약속: 예수후편』, 『우리말성경』) 에 대한 비교 연구: 야고보서 1장 표본 분석

국문 초록

본 연구에서 필자들은 현재 국·내외에서 통용되고 있는 3가지의 사역 신약 성경들(모퉁이돌 선교회, 『성경전서』[2015], 평양성경연 구소, 『하나님의 말씀: 예수 후편』[2017], 두란노서원, 『우리말 성경』 [2005/2018])을 비교 평가한다. 현재 북한에서는 공인역 성경으로 조선기독교도련맹 중앙위원회, 『성경전서』(1990[2010])가 사용되고 있는데, 이 성경의 위치가 일반적으로 인정받지 못하고 있는 상황에서 다양한 사역 성경들이 북한과 탈북민들에게 공급되고 있다는 점에서 사역 성경들과 북한어 공인역 성경들에 대한 평가가 필요한 시점이기 때문이다. 이를 위해 아직 소개가 미비한 사역 성경들에 대한 개괄적 정보를 제공하고(제2장), 이후 야고보서 1장을 선별하여 4개의 북한어 성경의 번역 상태를 어휘 및 문장 측면에서 살펴보 았다(제3장). 이 분석을 통해 다음과 같은 번역 상태를 제시할 수있다:한편, 헬라어 원문 일치도에 있어서 『우리말 성경』과 『성경전서』 (모퉁이돌)는 헬라어 원문에서 번역된 장점이 있다. 특별히, 북한어 공인역인 『성경전서』가 국내의 『공동번역』(1977)을 개정한 것이라는 점에서 앞선 두 사역성경들은 향후 북한어 성경 번역에 있어 좋은 선례를 제공한다고 평가할 수 있다. 북한에서 공식 성경 번역이 언제 재개될지 모르나 남·북한 교류가 활발하게 진행되는 시점에 본 연구가 남·북한의 신약 성경 이해의 가교 역할을 할 것을 기대한다.

영문 초록

In this article authors try to evaluate three North Korean private translations of the New Testament(i.e. Cornerstone Ministries Inc.[CMI], Bible[2015], Pyongyang Bible Institut[PBI], God’s Promises: New Testament[2017], Duranno, Woorimal Bible[Duranno Korean Version, 2005/2018]). In the situation that Korean Christian Federation(KCF, Chosun Kidok-kyo Yuynmaeng)’s Bible(1990/2010) is circulated as the official version, the fact that a few North Korean private translations are supplied to the North Korea and North Korean refugees calls some investigations on them and evaluations. To achieve these purposes authors provided some introductory information of them in chapter 2, and then analysed James 1 of four North Korean translations (including the official version of KCF) as a sample in terms of translated vocabularies and sentences. Authors summarise their state of translation as follows(chap. 3):In a separate, Woormal Bible and Cornerstone Ministries’ Bible have a merit that they were equivalently translated from Greek New Testament(Nestle-Aland, NTG, 27 th edition). Especially, because KCF’s Bible is based on Korean Common Bible(1977), the previous-mentioned two private translations could provide some positive directions for the future North Korean New Testament translation. Although the plan for a new translation of North Korean Bible is covered, this article is expected to function as a bridge of discussion between South Korean translation and North Korean one in the mood of reconciliation of both Koreas.
