전보행재활로봇 디자인의 지각된 사용편의성 평가요인 탐색

국문 초록

고령화에 따른 고령인구의 증가로 재활치료 수요 또한 증가하면서 고비용의 재활치료를 대체할 방안으로 재활로봇에 대한 관심이 높다. 실제로 재활로봇이 의료현장에서 사용되면서 재활로봇에 있어서도 사용자와 디자인의 중요성을 인식하기 시작했지만 아직 재활로봇은 개발초기 단계로 개발 및 평가에 대한 정보가 부족한 상황이다. 이에 본 연구는 재활로봇개발에 활용할 수 있는 기초자료의 생성차원에서 전보행 재활로봇의 디자인 평가에 요구되는 지표, 효과적 요인의 탐색, 도출을 목적으로 한다. 전보행 재활로봇 사용자를 대상으로 설문조사를 실시했다. 사용자그룹은 일반인사용자, UX디자이너, 재활치료전문가(재활의학과전문의, 물리치료사)로 구성하였고 각각은 환자보호자, 의료진, 환자의 의견을 대변하는 것으로 보았다. 조사결과에 탐색적 요인분석을 실시한 결과, 총 14개의 재활로봇 디자 인의 지각된 사용성 평가요인이 도출되었다. 탐색된 요인들은 유형적 구성요인과 무형적 이동‧자세요인으로 분류할 수 있었으며, 재활로봇의 특정 구성요소와 이동‧자세의 중요성을 나타내는 것으로 볼 수 있다. 탐색된 요인들은 전보행 재활로봇 디자인개발 및 개선의 단계에서, 제품 평가와 분석에 활용됨으로써 사용자 관점을 보다 효과적으로 반영하는데 기여할 수 있을 것이다. 그러나 탐색된 요인들은 본 연구에 활용된 전보행 재활로봇에 초점을 두고 도출된 것으로, 다른 제품과의 반복검증을 통해 보완, 개선함으로써 다른 여러 재활로봇에 적용할 수 있는 표준화과정 등이 후속연구로 요구된다.

영문 초록

As advanced countries over the world have turned to aged societies, the increase of older people requiring rehabilitative treatments is creating much attention for rehabilitation robots that are considered as replacing the expensive treatments by physical therapists. With some rehabilitative robots being sent in healthcare, the importance of user centered design in medical device has become known but the medical device industry including rehabilitation robot makers has suffered from lack of information and tools to be used for their development. Thus, this study aims at identifying usability factors of rehabilitation robot design which are able to more effectively reflect users’ perspectives. To accomplish the study goal, it was adopted to survey users comprised of ordinary people who represented guardians of patients such as parents, UX designers to deliver patients’ opinion, and rehabilitative treatment professionals. The result of the exploratory factor analysis with the collected data shows 14 factors which affect perceived usability on the pre-gait rehabilitation robots, which are divided into two groups, tangible factors related to specific parts of the robot and intangible factors associated with transfer and postures. The outcomes of this study possibly contribute to know whether rehabilitation robots meet users needs. As a following study, to re-verify the identified factors with different rehabilitation robots is possibly regarded so as to build a standardized assessment tool.
