국문 초록

리쾨르의 해석학은 신학의 기본 개념들에 대해서 새로운 통찰력을 전해 준다. 계시와 신앙이 모두 해석학적인 상황에서 이해된다. 계시란 텍스트가 새로운 존재의 가능성을 드러내는 것을 가리키며, 신앙이란 그런 본문을 이해하며 새로운 자기 이해에 도달하는 것이다. 신앙이란 결국 새로운 자기 이해의 문제인데, 그것은 텍스트가 펼치는 새로운 세계를 자기 것으로 받아들이면서 발생한다. 그러므로 계시와 신앙이 모두 텍스트를 해석하며 발생한다. 이해는 해석의 열매다. 여기에는 직접적인 자기 이해를 말하는 데카르트 이후 인식론이나 이해가 해석에 앞선다고 말하는 하이데거의 존재론을 모두 극복하려는 리쾨르 철학의 핵심이 있다. 인간의 자기 존재의 확실성은 직접적일지 모르나, 자기 자신이 누군지는 해석의 결과로서만 알 수 있다. 하이데거의 존재의 경우도 마찬가지다. 하이데거의 존재 경험은 직접적일지 모르나 그 존재가 누군지는 해석의 결과다. 흔히 믿어야 성서를 이해할 수 있다고 하지만, 성서를 이해하는 것은 하나님이 누군지 또는 하나님 나라가 무엇인지 이해하는 것이며, 그것은 결국 텍스트를 해석하며 발생하는 것이다. 계시와 신앙 그리고 인간의 자기 이해는 모두 해석학적인 상황에서 발생하는 것이다. 하나님이 직접 말하지 않고 텍스트가 말한다. 그래서 해석학적 자유가 발생한다. 이런 논의는 계시를 얘기하면서도 인간을 주체로 세우는 신학을 위해 유용하다.

영문 초록

Ricoeur's Hermeneutics gives us various insights about the theological basic concepts. Revelation is viewed there as manifestation of the possibility of new being unfolded from text and Faith is to reach the self-comprehension through comprehending such a text. Faith is, at the end, the matter of the self-comprehension of the reader which comes from accepting the new world manifested by text as his own. Therefore both revelation and faith occur at the place of interpretation of text. Comprehension is the fruit of the interpretation. There we can find the essential point of Ricoeur's Hermeneutics which tries to overcome the Descarte's confidence on the immediate self-comprehension of human being and Heidegger's immediate comprehension of Being, namely precomprehension as well. The biblical God is more than the philosophical Sein of Heidegger. They say that the Bible can be read fully only with Belief in God. But the contents of belief is tied to the identity of the very God or the Kingdom of God, which shows itself, only following the interpretation of the Bible. Revelation, Faith and the Self-comprehension are all the results of hermeneutic situation. God doesn't speak Immediately but text speaks. Then hermeneutic freedom occurs. Argumentation like this is useful for the theology which want to recognize the revelation from over there and the subjectivity of human being at the same time.
