국문 초록

이 논문은 우리의 시대를 소수자들의 시대로 규정한 들뢰즈/가타리의 관점에 따라 ‘소수자신학’을 규명하는 데 목적이 있다. 오늘날 현대 신학은 서구 근대성의 극한 속에서 다양한 형태로 분기하고 발산하는 소수성/소수자를 신학적으로 읽어낼 책무를 가지고 있다. 그런 시도들은 1960년대 이후 급진적이고 해방적인 성향의 신학들-예컨대 민중신학, 해방신학, 흑인신학, 여성신학, 달릿신학 등-에서 이미 전개된 바 있다. 그것들은 각각 다양한사회·경제·정치적 배경과 맥락 속에서 발생한 고유한 신학들이라는 점에서 불연속적이지만, 동시에 보편적 소수자신학이라는 공통의 지평 위에 놓일 수 있다는 점에서 연속적이다. 소수성/소수자를 신학적 주제/주체로 삼기 위해서는 무엇보다 전통적인 서구 존재론과 근대성의 배경 속에서 형성된 서구 신학에 대한 비판과 극복이 선행되어야 한다. 왜냐하면 서구 신학은 역사적으로 서구사회의 지배적 척도나 표준을 중심으로 형성되었을 뿐 아니라 다수자 중심의 지배체제를 고착화하는 데 일정부분 기여했다는 점에서 비판과 극복의 대상으로서의 ‘다수자 신학’이라 할 수 있기 때문이다. 하여 다수성/다수자 중심의 눈길로 쓰인 신학사에 대한 새로운 구성주의적 관점과 더불어 서구 신학에 대한 근본적인 재조명이 필요하다. 소수자 신학이라는 문제 제기를 통해 오늘날 현대 사회에서-특별히 자본주의와 국가 장치가 포획을 강화하는 과정에서-발생하는 다양한 방식의 소수자들을 신학적으로 이해할수 있는 토대가 마련되기를 기대한다.

영문 초록

This essay aims to examine the ‘minority theology’ from a Deleuzo-Guattarian point of view who have characterized our age as the one of minorities. To read out the minority ramifying and diffusing in varied forms today while the Western modernity reaching its limits is a sort of responsibility of the contemporary theology. Attempts as such, in fact, have been made since 1960’s by certain branches of radical theology - Minjung theology, liberation theology, black theology, feminist theology, Dalit theology, ect., for example. These theologies are discontinuous each other, each being originated in its own social and ecopolitical background and context, but continuous at the same time as they can be placed on a horizon of the universal minority theology they have in common. To have the minority as one’s theological subject, criticism and overcome of the traditional Western theology with its ontology and modernity are to precede anything else. For the Western theology not only has formed around the dominant criteria or standards of its society, but also played a certain role to fixate its governing system, in that it can be called a ‘majority theology’. Thus we need to basically review the Western theology from a new constructivist perspective. Questioning the matter of minority theology, it is the hope of this essay that it has formed the basis of theological understanding of various kind of minorities arisen in the modern society-particularly in process of tightening the capture of capitalism and state apparatus.
