국문 초록

목적: 네 종류의 빛간섭단층촬영기(optical coherence tomography, OCT)를 이용하여 측정한 황반부 망막두께를 비교하고자 한다. 대상과 방법: 정상인 32명의 32안을 대상으로 Cirrus HD-OCT (Carl Zeiss Meditec, Inc., Dublin, CA, USA), Spectralis OCT (Heidelberg engineering, Heidelberg, Germany), Topcon DRI OCT (Topcon Corp., Tokyo, Japan), RS-3000 Advance OCT (Nidek, Co., Ltd., Gamagori, Japan)를 이용하여 황반부 망막두께를 측정한 후 장비 간의 측정치 차이와 일치도를 분석하였다. 결과: 황반부 전체 평균 망막두께는 288.7에서 313.3 μm로 장비 간 유의한 차이를 보였다(p<0.01). 검사 장비 간 차이는 0.7에서 27.3 μm였 고, 장비 간 일치도 범위는 9.7에서 24.4 μm였다. 여러 장비들 중 Spectralis OCT와 RS-3000 Advance OCT의 차이가 평균값 0.7 μm로 가장 작았고, 일치도 범위도 -6.4 to 3.3 μm로 가장 좁았다. 결론: 네 종류의 장비로 측정한 황반부 망막두께는 서로 다른 값을 보였다. 하지만 Spectralis OCT와 RS-3000 Advance OCT로 측정한 값은 높은 일치도를 보였다.

영문 초록

Purpose: This study was performed to compare macular retinal thickness measured by four different optical coherence tomography (OCT) devices. Methods: Macular retinal thicknesses were measured in 32 healthy eyes of 32 subjects by using Cirrus HD-OCT (Carl Zeiss Meditec, Inc., Dublin, CA, USA), Spectralis OCT (Heidelberg engineering, Heidelberg, Germany), Topcon DRI OCT (Topcon Corp., Tokyo, Japan), and RS-3000 Advance OCT (Nidek, Co., Ltd., Gamagori, Japan). Macular retinal thickness measurements were compared among the devices. Results: Average macular retinal thickness ranged 288.7 to 313.3 μm (p < 0.01). Differences in average macular retinal thickness among the devices ranged from 0.7 to 27.3 μm; the limit of agreement (LoA) ranged from 9.7 to 24.4 μm. Among the devices, comparison between Spectralis OCT and RS-3000 Advance OCT showed the smallest difference in average macular retinal thickness (mean, 0.7 μm) and the narrowest LoA (-6.4 to 3.3 μm). Conclusions: Macular retinal thickness measured by four different OCT devices showed different values. However, values obtained by Spectralis OCT and RS-3000 Advance OCT showed good agreement.
