대학생의 취업스트레스가 정신건강과 자살행동에 미치는 영향: 자아탄력성의 매개효과

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 대학생의 취업스트레스, 자아탄력성, 정신건강, 자살행동의 구조적 관계를 구조 방정식모형(SEM)을 통해서 검증하고자 한다. 연구윤리 확보를 위해 2018년 10월 23일 공용기관생 명윤리위원회로부터 승인(P01-201810-22-005)을 받은 후 연구를 진행하였다. 경기도, 경상북도, 부산광역시 소재 대학교 남·여학생 338명을 대상으로 온라인 설문을 실시하였으며 최종분석에는 334 명의 자료가 활용되었다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS Ver. 21.0을 이용하여 기술통계분석을 실시했으며, AMOS Ver. 18.0 프로그램을 사용하여 구조방정식 모형 분석을 통해 인과성을 검증하였다. 본 연구의 주요 연구결과와 논의를 제시하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 취업스트레스는 대학생의 정신건 강과 자살행동에 정적(positive)으로 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 자아탄력성은 대학생의 정신건강과 자살행동에 부적(negative)으로 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 대학생의 취업스 트레스와 정신건강, 자살행동과의 관계에서 자아탄력성의 매개효과를 살펴본 것에 연구의 의의가 있다. 본 연구에서는 취업스트레스가 정신건강과 자살행동에 직접적인 영향을 주기도 하고 자아탄력성을 매개로 간접적인 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과와 논의를 기반으로 후속연구를 위한 제언을 하고자 한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to investigate the structural relationship between job search stress, ego-resilience, mental health, and suicide behavior of college students through Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). In order to secure the research ethics, the study was conducted after gaining the research permission in October 23, 2018 from Institute Review Board (IRB). An online questionnaire was administered to 338 male and female college students in Gyeonggi-do, Gyeongsangbuk-do, and Busan. The final analysis included 334 data. SPSS (Ver.21)was used for descriptive statistics analysis and AMOS(Ver.18.0)was used for causality verified through analysis of structural equation model. The main result of this study is as follows. First, job search stress was positively related to mental health and suicide behavior of college students. Second, ego-resilience has negative effects on college students mental health and suicide behavior. Third, the mediating effect of ego-resilience on the relationship between job search stress, mental health and suicide behavior of college students is significant. This study found that job search stress directly affects mental health and suicide behavior. In addition, ego-resilience plays a mediating role and has an indirect effect. Based on these findings and discussions, I will suggest some suggestions for a follow-up study.
