국문 초록

본 연구는 서울 소재 A대학의 2018년 2월, 8월 졸업자들을 무선표집하여 최종적으로 511명의 대학 입학 후부터 구직시점까지 수행한 진로준비행동이 취업성과에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 이를 위해 취업성과를 취업여부, 대기업정규직 취업여부, 일과 전공 일치도로 설정하여 진로탐색행동과 취업준비행동을 포괄하는 진로준비행동의 영향력을 구체적으로 살펴보았다. 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 개인특성에 따라 진로준비행동과 취업성과에서 집단 간 유의미한 차이가 발생하였다. 둘째, 직업세계탐색활동(-), 전공탐색활동(+), 실질적 구직활동(+), 구체적 직업정보 수집활동(+)은 취업여부에 영향을 미친다. 셋째, 대기업정규직 취업여부는 학습을 통한 직업역량 향상활동(-)과 구직스킬 향상활동(+)의 영향을 받는다. 넷째, 직업세계탐색활동은 전공 일치도와 정적인 인과관계를 나타낸다. 연구 결과들을 반영해 후반부에 연구 시사점과 후속연구에 대한 제언을 논하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of the study was to analyze the effect of career preparation behavior of 511 university graduates from university entrance to the time of job hunting on the employment outcomes through random sampling from the graduates in February and August of 2018 in A university in Seoul. For this, the study defined the employment outcomes as employment status, employment status of large company as standard worker, and major congruence. And the effect of career preparation behavior including career exploration behavior and employment preparation behavior on the employment outcomes were examined. The results were followings. First, there were significant differences between the groups in terms of career preparation behavior and employment outcomes according to the characteristics of the person. Second, occupational world exploration activity(-), major exploration activity(+), actual job-seeking activity(+) and specific job information gathering activity(+) affected employment status. Third, the employment status of large enterprises as standard worker was influenced by job competence improvement activity through learning(-) and job skill improvement activity(+). Forth, occupational world exploration activity showed a positive relationship with major congruence. At the end, the implications of the study and suggestions of the follow-up research were discussed.
