세대통합형 초고령사회 커뮤니티 조성을 위한 지역사회 고령친화정도 분석: 영등포구와 용인시를 중심으로

국문 초록

본 연구는 초고령사회에 대응하기 위한 커뮤니티를 조성하는 것이 필요하다는 인식에서 시작한다. 초고령사회에서는 20%의 노인이 아동, 청소년, 청년, 중장년 등 80%의 다양한 세대와 함께 어울려 살아간다. 이러한 초고령사회 커뮤니티를 조성하기 위해서는 어르신들이 지역사회에서 AIP를 실현하며 편안한 삶을 영위함과 동시에 세대 간의 갈등이 없이 함께 교류하는 세대통합적 환경과 인식이 필수적이다. 본 연구에서는 WHO의 고령친화도시 가이드라인을 토대로 영등포구와 용인시를 중심으로 지역사회 고령친화정도 조사를 실시하였다. 연구결과 인식과 태도, 노인의 사회참여, 시민참여와 고용, 존경과 사회적 통합 등의 항목에서 각 세대간 인식 차이가 나타났으며 영등포와 용인시 모두 보건복지서비스 영역의 평균점수가 가장 높았으며 시민참여와 고용 영역의 점수가 가장 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 세대통합형 초고령사회 커뮤니티를 조성하기 위해 어르신들의 사회관계망과 사회참여 확대, 세대 간의 갈등조정 기제가 필요하며 이에 대한 제언으로 향후 초고령사회에 주역이 될 베이비부머 세대를 활용하여 지역사회 내에서 지역사회공헌, 재능기부, 갈등조정 등 다양한 활동을 통해 세대통합형 지역사회를 모색해 볼 수 있겠다.

영문 초록

This study begins with the perception that it is necessary to create a community to cope with a super-aged society. In a super-aged society, 20 percent of the elderly live together with 80 percent of the diverse generation, including children, teenagers, youth and middle-aged people. In order to create such a super-aged society community, it is essential for the elderly to realize AIP in their communities, to live a comfortable life, and to have an integrated environment and awareness of the generations in which generations interact without conflicts. In this study, based on WHO’s guidelines for the aged-friendly urban areas, the Yeongdeungpo and Yongin were surveyed on the level of age-related conditions in the community. The study showed that the difference in the recognition and attitude of the elderly, social participation by the elderly, employment and employment, respect and social integration, and that the average score in the health service sector was the highest in both Yeongdeungpo and Yongin. In order to create a super-aged community, we need to expand social relationships, expand social participation, and adjust conflicts among generations.
