학령 후기 아동의 성별, 대인관계성향, 또래압력, 학교분위기가 이타성 발현에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구는 학령 후기 아동의 이타성 발현과 관련된 개인 내적 요인 및 사회문화적 요인에 관심을 가지고, 초등학교 6학년 아동의 성별, 대인관계성향, 또래압력 및 학교분위기가 이타성 발현에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 알아보고자 하였다. 연구 대상은 서울, 경기도 및 전남 소재 초등학교에 재학 중인 6학년 385명(남아 218명, 여아 167명)이며, 자료를 분석하기 위한 방법으로 t 검증, 중다회귀분석을 실시 하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 연구변인들의 성차를 살펴 본 결과, 대인관계성 향별로 성차가 나타났으며 또래압력의 하위영역에 따라 여학생이 받는 또래압력이 더 높았다. 또한 여학생이 남학생보다 학교의 분위기가 좋다고 느끼고 있으며, 이타 행동을 많이 보이고 있는 것을 알 수있었다. 둘째, 이타성 발현에 유의하게 영향을 미치는 대인관계성향은 동정-수용, 독립-책임, 지배-우월 이었다. 이타성의 발현을 예측하는 또래압력은 또래눈치, 또래유행, 일상활동 이었으며 학교분위기는 모든 영역에서 이타성의 발현에 유의하게 영향을 미쳤다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 이타성 발현에 영향을 미치는 변인 및 지원 방향에 대해 논의하였다.

영문 초록

This study examined the influence of sex, interpersonal relation disposition, peer pressure, and school climate on Children’s Altruism. Participants in this study were 385 elementary school students in Seoul, Gyung Gi and Jeonnam Province, Korea. Collected data were analyzed by using descriptive statics, independent t-tests, and multiple regression. The results of this study were as follows; First, it was found that there was a gender difference according to interpersonal tendency, and the peer pressure of the female students was higher according to the sub - region of peer pressure. In addition, the female students feel that the atmosphere of the school is better than the male students, and they are showing more altruism. Second, The interpersonal relation disposition which had a significant effect on the expression of altruism was compassion-acceptance, independent-responsible, dominance-ascendance. Noticed peers, peer fashion, daily activities predicted the appearance of altruism, and school climate significantly affected the appearance of altruism in all areas. Based on these results, we discussed the factors affecting the expression of altruism and the direction of support.
