대학에서의 관광교육이 진로결정수준에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구: 2년제 대학을 중심으로

국문 초록

본 연구에서는 관광교육품질요인인 교과과정의 체계성, 교과과정의 적절성, 교육자의 전문 성, 교육환경 등이 전공만족도요인인 교과과정 만족, 교수-학생관계 만족, 진로만족 등에 미치는 영향에 관해 검증하고, 관광교육품질이 진로결정수준에 미치는 영향관계와 전공만족도가 진로결정수준에 미치는 영향에 관해 규명하고자 하였으며, 연구목적을 검증한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 관광교육품질의 체계성요인은 진로만족에 대한 t값 3.881, 교과과정만족 t값 3.907로 나타났으며, 교육환경요인의 진로만족은 t값 2.721, 교육자 전문성요인의 진로만족은 t값 2.480, 교과과정만족은 t값 3.203으로 관광교육품질요인의 세 가지 주요차원이 전공만족도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 관광교육품질의 교육자의 전문성의 진로결정수준 진로확신에 대한 t값 2.387로 나타나 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 교육자의 전문성이 높을수록 관광을 전공 하는 재학생들의 진로결정수준이 높아짐을 알 수 있다 셋째, 전공만족도의 진로결정수준 진로확신에 대한 t값 2.973, 진로미결정수준은 t값 1.994 로 나타났다. 따라서 재학생의 진로에 대한 만족은 졸업 후 진로에 대한 확신수준을 높이고, 진로만족은 진로미결정에 대한 영향에는 부(-)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of tourism education quality(systematic of the curriculum, appropriateness of the curriculum, educator professionalism, educational environment) on major satisfaction(curriculum, professor -student relationship, career) and to test the effect of tourism education quality on career decision level and the effect of major satisfaction on career decision level. As a result of the study were as follows; First, the systematic factor of tourism education quality was tvalue for career satisfaction of 3.881 and curriculum satisfaction of 3.907, educational environment factors were career satisfaction 2.721, educator professionalism factor was career satisfaction 2.480 and curriculum satisfaction 3.203, indicating that three major dimensions of tourism education quality factors had a significant effect on major satisfaction. Second, the educator professionalism of tourism education quality showed that the standardized regression coefficient for career confidence of career decision level was 0.138(t value 2.387). This is because the higher the educator professionalism, the higher the career decision level of students majoring in tourism. Third, the t-value of career satisfaction for career confidence was 2.973 and career uncertainty level was 1.994. Therefore, Satisfaction with the career path of the students increased the level of confidence in their career paths after graduation and had a negative effect on career indecision.
