유아 교사의 영재교육 인식에 대한 개념도 분석

국문 초록

본 연구는 유아교육기관 교사의 유아영재교육에 대한 인식과 개념을 알아보고자 하는 것이다. 이를 위해 경기 소재 유아교육기관 중 총 18명의 교사에게 개념도 분석법을 적용하여 2차에 걸친 자료 수집을 실시하였다. 유아영재교육에 대한 교사의 인식에 대한 설문은 계층적(Ward) 군집분석과 다차원척도법을 통해 개념도로 생성되었고, 이에 대한 면담을 실시하여 질적 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 수집된 자료를 바탕으로 최종진술문을 확정하고, 분석한 결과 유아영재교육에 대한 인식은 2개의 차원과 5개의 군집으로 생성되었다. 둘째, 유아 영재교육에 대한 최종진술문을 바탕으로 면담을 실시한결과 영재 교육에 대한 필요성은 인정하지만 부작용에 대한 우려를 언급하였고, 예비교사 단계 및 현직교사를 위한 유아영재 판별과 교수 교육을 희망하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 현직 유아교사의 재교육뿐만 아니라 예비 유아영재교육 교사를 양성하는데 있어 유아 영재교육에 대한 인식 재고와 교수-학습 설계의 방향을 제시할 수 있는 기초자료가 될 것이라 사료된다.

영문 초록

This study is intended to explore the perception and concept of gifted education for teachers of childhood education institutions. To this end, a total of 18 teachers of childhood education institutions in Gyeonggi Province were required to collect data on two occasions by applying the concept-mapping analysis method. The survey on teachers perception of gifted education for childhood was created through a hierarchical cluster analysis and multidimensional scaling method, and the results of a qualitative analysis are as follows. First, the final statement was confirmed based on the collected data, and the results of the analysis show that the perception of gifted education was created in two dimensions and five clusters. Second, the survey conducted based on the final report on the education of gifted childhood revealed that while acknowledging the need for the education of gifted childhood, it mentioned concerns about the side effects, and hoped for the screening and teaching of gifted childhood for pre-teacher stages and incumbent teachers. This study will be a basic material that can present the direction of teaching-learning design and a reconsideration of the awareness of gifted education as well as the re-education of incumbent teachers.
