무용동작치료가 자폐 범주 장애 유아의 사회성숙과 자폐증세 감소에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구는 자폐 범주성 장애 유아를 대상으로 무용/동작치료를 적용함으로써 사회성숙과 자폐증세 감소에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 하였다. 연구 대상은 무용/동작치료 유아(3살)이며 공감적 동작모방(Mirroring)기법을 사용하여 주 1회 총 110회기의 치료를 진행하였다. 무용/동작치료의 효과 검증은 사회성숙도 검사(SMS)와 아동기 자폐증 평정척도(CARS)를 사전·사후 비교 실시하였다. 그 결과 사회성숙의 증가와 자폐증세의 감소가 나타났다. 이와 같은 연구결과는 무용/동작 치료가 자폐 범주성 장애 유아의 사회성숙과 자폐증세 감소에 효과가 있음을 증명하며 무용/동작 치료가 언어와 사회적 상호작용이 어려운 자폐 범주성 장애 유아에게 적극적으로 개입 가능한 영역임을 시사하였다. 그러나 본 연구가 단일 치료 사례이므로 이를 일반화하기에는 많은 사례들이 요구되며 본 사례의 통계적 효과 검증에는 한계가 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of dance/movement therapy on the increase of social maturity and the reduction of autism symptoms in infant with autism spectrum disorder(ASD). The subject was autism spectrum infant(3 years old) and the treatment was conducted once a week for a total of 110 times using mirroring technique. In order to verify the effectiveness of dance/movement therapy, social maturity test(SMS) and childhood autism rating scale(CARS) were compared before and after the test. As a result, we found the increase of social maturity and the decrease of autism symptoms. The results of this study demonstrate that dance therapy is effective in reducing the social maturity and autism of children with autism spectrum disorders, and that dance/movement therapy can actively intervene in children with autism spectrum disorders. However, since this study is a single treatment case, many more cases are required to generalize the result. Therefore, there is a limit to the verification of the statistical effect of this case.
