스트릿 댄스 조기교육에 대한 한국과 일본의 현황 비교 연구

국문 초록

본 연구에서는 스트릿 댄스 조기교육에 대하여 한국과 일본의 현황을 살펴보며, 국가 간 비교 분석하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 질적 연구인 내러티브 연구 기법으로 진행하였으며, 현재 10년 이상 스트릿 댄서로 활동하고 있는 자와 현재 3세~13세까지 2년 이상 교육하고 있는 자를 기준으로 한국 참여자 4명, 일본 참여자 4명으로 총 8명의 연구 참여자를 선정하였다. 심층면담은 2023년 9월부터 2023년 11월까지 약 2개월에 걸쳐 인터뷰를 진행하였다. 일본은 언어장벽과 국내 외 이동 간에 제약이 있었으며, 시간 제약 없이 참여자의 경험을 심도 있게 얻기 위하여 다양한 자료수집방법을 사용하였다. 따라서 일본 참여자는 이메일과 비대면 화상면담(ZOOM), 대면면담으로 인터뷰를 진행하였으며, 인터뷰에 대한 답변은 전문적인 번역사를 통하여 번역하였다. 심층면담을 통하여 ‘스트릿 댄스 조기교육 프로그램 현황’, ‘미디어의 발달’, ‘한국과 일본의 스트릿 댄스 조기교육의 차이점’, ‘한국스트릿 댄스 조기교육의 발전’으로 4개의 대분류와 13개의 중분류, 54개의 소분류가 도출되었다. 본 연구를 통하여 스트릿 댄스 조기교육의 필요성과 중요성을 알 수 있었으며, 본 연구를 통하여 국가 간의 스트릿 댄스 조기교육을 비교함으로써 연령대별 클래스 확대, 행사 공유 사이트, 스트릿 댄스 교육 확대와 같이 한국 스트릿 댄스 조기교육 발전 방향의 기초자료가 될 것이라고 사료된다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to compare and analyze the current status of street dance early education in Korea and Japan. To this end, a total of 8 study participants were selected: 4 Korean participants and 4 Japanese participants based on those who have been working as street dancers for more than 10 years and those who have been teaching for more than 2 years from the age of 3 to 13. The in-depth interview was conducted over a period of about 2 months from September 2023 to November 2023. In Japan, there were restrictions between language barriers and movement at home and abroad, and various data collection methods were used to obtain in-depth experiences of participants without time constraints. Therefore, Japanese participants were interviewed by e-mail, non-face-to-face video interview(ZOOM), and face-to-face interviews, and the answers to the interview were translated through a professional translator. Through in-depth interviews, four major categories, 13 subcategories, and 54 subcategories were derived: 'Status of Early Street Dance Education Program', 'Development of Early Street Dance Education in Korea and Japan', and 'Development of Early Korean Street Dance Education'. Through this study, the necessity and importance of early street dance education were found, and through this study, comparing early street dance education between countries will serve as basic data for the development of early Korean street dance education, such as expanding classes by age group, event sharing sites, and expanding street dance education.
