영문 초록

Despite the recognition on the significances of technology to economic growth, yet it is strange enough that the effect of product quality to economy has been ignored. In recent sophisticate theories of economic growth there is no idea about qualitative economic growth stimulated by product innovation. Ever since the industrial revolution the kinds and the volume of product have been increased steadily and especially in these days product quality improvements are immense, we can encounter many economic situational developments caused by numerous technological innovations of high quality new production. Consumer tastes and consumption patterns are continuously changing. The superficial and intrinsic transitions in economic developments are vivid. However the traditional theory views that technological innovation makes the economy grow only in its productivity growth. This standpoint is not enough to grasp the reality in economic development for it does not see the dyad features of economic growth： quantity and quality.
