국문 초록

본 연구는 국민기초생활보장수급자의 우울, 생활만족도, 자아존중감과 가족갈등대처방식은 일반적 특성에 따라 차이가 있는지 규명하였으며, 또한 국민기초생활보장수급자의 우울과 생활만족도의 관계에 있어서 자아존중감과 가족갈등대처방식의 매개효과를 검증하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 한국복지패널 10차년도(2015년)자료를 활용하였으며, 연구대상자는 국민기초생활보장수급자 가구주 567명 대상으로 분석하였다. 분석방법은, 우울, 생활만족도, 자아존중감, 가족갈등대처방식에 대한집단 간 차이를 살펴보기 위하여 t-검정 및 ANOVA분석을 실시하였다. 우울과, 생활만족도, 자아존중감, 가족갈등대처방식 관계를 실증하기 위하여 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 최종적으로 자아존중감과, 가족갈등대처방식 매개효과를 검증하기 위하여 부트스트래핑 방법을 사용하여 검증하였다. 주요 연구결과, 국민기초생활보장수급자의 우울과 생활만족도에 부적(-)으로 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 자아존중감과, 가족갈등대처방식은 생활만족도에 부분 매개효과를 가지는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과를 토대로 국민기초생활보장수급자의 생활만족도를 높이기 위하여, 다양한 실천적 서비스 개입 및 정책개발 필요함을 제언하였다.

영문 초록

This study identifies the difference in social assistance recipients self-esteem, coping strategies for family conflicts and life satisfaction dependent on the general characteristics. In addition, in terms of relationship between depression and life satisfaction, this study aims to verify the mediating effect of self-esteem and coping strategies for family conflicts. Therefore, the 10th year(2015) materials of Korea Welfare Panel Study was used and total of 567 social assistance recipients to the head of household were selected and analyzed as the research subjects. As the analysis method, t-test and ANOVA analysis was conducted to examine the difference by groups regarding depression, life satisfaction, self-esteem and coping strategies for family conflicts. In order to verify the relationship between depression, life satisfaction, self-esteem and coping strategies for family conflicts, regression was conducted. Finally, in order to verify the mediating effect of self-esteem and coping strategies for family conflicts, bootstrapping method was used. As a result of the analysis, the depression of social assistance recipients had negative effect on their life satisfaction while self-esteem and coping strategies for family conflicts had partial mediating effect on the life satisfaction. To improve life satisfaction of social assistance recipients based on the study results, the necessity of diverse practical service interventions and policy development was proposed.
