국문 초록

한국의 일본 근현대사 연구는 한국사회라는 움직일 수 없는 기본토대 위에 서 있다. 일본 근현대사연구는 일본제국주의에 의한 한국침략과 식민지 경험에 의해 다른 지역 역사 연구와는 다른 독특한 역사적 배경을 지녔다. 본 논문은 한국에서 일본 근현대사 연구의 동향을 간단히 정리하면서 한국 일본 근현대사 연구의 특성과 한국에서 일본 근현대사 연구의 성격을 규명하고자 한다. 먼저 양적분석을 통해 일본 근현대사연구의 경향성을 대강이나마 파악하고자 한다. 다음으로 한국의 일본 근현대사 연구를 질적으로 분석하고자 한다. 1945년이래 1990년대까지 일본 근현대사연구는 한일관계에 치우쳐 있었다. 2000년대에 접어들면서 일본 근현대사의 한일관계 연구도 지속적으로 늘어났지만, 일본 근현대사 자체 연구영역이 비약적으로 증가하였다. 일본 근현대사의 자체에서도 연구분야가 다양화되었다. 2006년도에 접어들면서 일본 근현대사 자체 연구가 관계 연구보다 양적으로 우위에 서게 되고, 이후 이러한 흐름의 변화는 현재까지 유지되고 있다. 한국의 일본 근현대사의 연구는 한국 근대사를 구성하고 있는 일본제국주의의 침략, 일본에 의한 식민지 지배에 대한 관심에서 출발하였다. 이어서 이러한 침략과 지배를 가능하게 만드는 일본근대의 성격 규명이 연구주제로 확장되었다. 또한 현대 한국과 관련해서는 성공적인 일본근대화에의 관심과, 현대 한국의 정체성을 형성하는 문제들과 일본 근현대사와의 관련성 이 주요한 연구 주제로 되었다. 뿐만 아니라 세계사적인 시야에서 한국과의 관련 혹은 비교의 시점을 보여주기도 하였다. 연구분야도 정치, 경제에서 출발하여 사회, 문화 등 다양한 방면으로 확장되었다.

영문 초록

Korea s modern Japanese history study stands on the fundamental foundation of immovable as a Korean society.　The study has a unique historical back-ground different from the study of the history of other areas by the invasion and colonial experience by Japanese imperialism.　The purpose of this paper is to easily organize the trends of Japanese modern history research in Korea and to investigate the characteristics of Korean modern Japanese history research. Since 1945, the Japanese modern history research up to the 1990s was biased toward Korea-Japan relations. In the 2000s, research has dramatically increased research on modern Japanese history itself than research on relations.　In 2006, the study of modern Japanese contemporary itself has made a quantitative advantage over the history of related research, and since then such changes in flow have been maintained to date.　In 2006, the study of Japanese contemporary history itself became more quantitative than the history of related research, and since then such changes in flow have been maintained to date. A study of Korean modern Japan contemporary history departed from the invasion of Japanese imperialism and colonial rule by Japan. Subsequently, research has expanded the research theme to investigate the character of modern Japan that allows aggression and domination to Korea. In addition, concerning the modernization of modern Korea with the contemporary Korean interest, the relation between the problem forming modern Korean identity and the modern Japanese history became the main research theme.
