대안 교육 프로그램을 통한 공동체 감수성 함양 탐색

국문 초록

창의적 체험활동, 학교 혁신, 자유학기제와 학년제를 연상하면 대안 교육이 떠오른다. 실제로 자유학기제와 학교 혁신을 위한 교육과정은 대안 교육에서 실행한 많은 교육 프로그램과 밀접한 관련성을 가지고 있다. 학교 교육과정은 이와 같은 교과교육 외, 즉 비교과 프로그램이 확대되고 있는 공간에 대안 교육이 상당 부분 이입되고 있다. 학교에서는 따라서 실행되고 있는 대안 교육에 대한 활용을 적극적으로 검토하는 것이 필요하다. 본 논의는 이러한 취지에서 대안 교육으로 활용하고 있는공동체적 감수성에 기초한 한 프로그램의 진행 과정을 탐구하였다. 그리고 그것이 가지고 있는 교육적 의미를 살펴보고자 하였다. 본 연구는 질적 연구이며 사례연구로 진행된 프로그램에 참여한 교사와 학생들의 인식을 주요 자료로 수집하였다. 그리고 공동체적 감수성을 함양할 수 있는 충분한 가능성에 대한 해석적 논의를 하였다. 최근 마을교육공동체의 움직임은 산업화로 인해 개인주의화 되어 가고 있는 사회가 가진 한계를 극복하기 위한 것이라고 할 수 있다. 이를 위해서는 시민성, 공동 체성 같은 역량이 중요하다. 그런 면에서 마을을 돌아다니면서 수집한 이야기와 함께 사진첩으로 제작하는 과정은 학교 교육에서 주변 지역을 이해하고 소중하게 생각할 기회를 제공하는 공동체성을 기르는데 효율적이고 다양한 교육적 의미를 담고 있음을 이해하였다. 그리고 이것은 현대 사회에서 교육에서 필요한 역량을 충분히 함축하고 있기에 학교 교육과정에 적극적으로 활용할 수 있도록 고려하는 것이 필요하다는 결론을 가지게 되었다.

영문 초록

Alternative education comes to mind when associating creativity experiential activities, school innovation, free semester system. Indeed, the curriculum for free semester and school innovation is closely related to the many educational programs implemented in alternative education. In the school curriculum, there is a considerable amount of alternative education in addition to the curriculum. Schools need to actively review the use of alternate education that is being implemented. This discussion explored the process of a program based on the community sensitivity that is being used as an alternative education in this sense. In addition, it discussed the educational significance that it has. This study was a qualitative research and case study that collected the perceptions of teachers and students who participated in the programs already conducted as main data. It was also an analytical discussion of the full potential to develop community sensitivity. The recent movement of the village education community can be said to overcome the limitations of a society that is becoming individualized due to industrialization. For this, citizenship and community competency are important. In this sense, the study understands that the process of collecting stories and collecting photographs while walking around the village has an effective and diverse educational meaning in educating communities that provide opportunities for understanding and valuing the surrounding area in school education. The study concluded that it is necessary to consider it to be able to utilize it effectively in the school curriculum because it fully implies necessary capacity in education in modern society.
