국내에서 분리한 salmonella gallinarum의 병원성 항생제 감수성 및 plasmid profile

국문 초록

야외에서 분리된 가금티푸스의 원인체인 S. gallinarum 30주를 대상으로 병원성 분석의 일환으로 Vero 세포를 이용한 부착성과 침투성 시험을 실시하였고 각 분리주에서 분리된 plasmid의 분석 및 항생제 감수성 검사를 실시하여 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 1. 야외분리주에서 분리된 plasmid의 크기와 숫자를 기준으로 plasmid를 전혀 갖고 있지 않는Ⅰ군, 85kb 크기의 plasmid만을 갖고 있는Ⅱ군, 85kb, 5kb, 2.8kb, 2.4kb 크기의 plasmid 4개가 검출되는 Ⅲ군과 85kb, 12kb, 7kb, 4.5kb 와 3.2kb 크기의 plasmid 5개가 검출되는 Ⅳ군 등 도합 4군의 plasmid profile로 분류할 수 있었는데 이중 25주의 야외분리주가 Ⅲ군의 plasmid profile에 속하였다. 2. 야외분리주의 Vero 세포와의 부착성은 균주별 차이가 없었으나 Vero 세포내의 침투성은 분리주에 따라 유의성 있는 차이를 보였다. 3. Plasmid profile에 따른 침투성과 항생제 감수성의 차이는 없었으며 동일한 군의 plasmid profile내에서도 다양한 침투성과 항생제 감수성의 차이를 나타냈다.

영문 초록

Salmonella gallinarum is a causative agent of fowl typhoid in chicken and its tremendous outbreaks in Korea have occurred since 1992. For the development of disease, salmonellae have several virulence factors such as adhesion pili, lipopolysaccharide of the outer cell membrane, enterotoxin, and so on. Among those virulences, adhesion and invasion abilities are initial and critical steps for the disease production. Thirty recent isolates of S. gallinarum were tested for their adhesion and invasion abilities to Vero cell as one of virulence tests, antibiotics susceptibility, and plasmid profiles. Based on the size and number of isolated plasmid from each isolate, plasmid profiles were divided into four groups: group Ⅰ without any plasmid, group Ⅱ with one 85kb plasmid; group Ⅲ with 4 plasmids (85, 5, 2.8 and 2.4 kb) and group Ⅳ with 5 plasmids (85, 12, 7, 4.5 and 3.2 kb). Most isolates were belong to group Ⅲ plasmid profile. No difference in adhesion ability was shown among isolates but difference in invasion ability was significantly detected among isolates (P＜0.05). However, any correlation was not shown between invasion ability and plasmid profiles. In addition, there is no relatedness between antibiotics susceptibility and plasmid profiles because diverse antibiotics susceptibilities were shown among isolates within same group of plasmid profile. Therefore, chromosomal analysis seems to be needed for epidemiological investigation of S. gallinarum isolates.
