영문 초록

Vaccination of Breeder chickens and day-old chicks having maternal antibody against Newcastle Disease(ND) using live(B₁) and inactivated vaccines(gel vaccine) were conducted. Breeder chicks were from breeder chickens vaccinated against ND with B₁ and gel vaccines at 30 and 40 weeks of age. Breeder chicks vaccinated with B₁ and gel vaccines against ND at day-old chicks responded with low titers of antibody to ND as measured by hemagglutination inhibition test(HI test) but had an acceptable degree of resistance or susceptible when challenged with a virulent Gyojeongwon strain of ND virus until 30 days of age.
