영문 초록

The present investigation was carried out to explore the trypsin inhibitor capacity(MTIC, O.D., 405nm) and serum albumin(BSA, mg/ml) of bovine milk, and its correlation with indicators of mastitis such as California mastitis test(CMT) and the Connecticut mastitis control program(CMCP). The obtained results were as follows: 1. Of 400 quarters milk examined bacteriologically by the method of CMCP, uninfected quarters were 231(57.8%), minor pathogen infected quarters were 72(18.0%), and major pathogen infected quarters were 97(24.3%), and that of the BSA were 0.202, 0.218, and 0.249, and that of the MTIC were 0.87, 0.63, and 0.33, respectively. 2. The incidence rate of mastitis with calving number were 22.0% in first, 40.7% in second, 42.6% in third, 45.0% in fourth, 57.6% in fifth, and 57.9% in more than sixth, and that of the BSA were 0.240, 0.227, 0.231, 0.243, 0.244, and 0.264 in order, and that of the MTIC were 0.42, 0.56, 0.46, 0.41, 0.244, and 0.27 in order, respectively. 3. The incidence rate of mastitis with lactation month group were 42.3% in 1-3 month, 60.2% in 4-5 month, and 34.9% in more than 6 month, and that of the BSA were 0.243, 0.225, and 0.264 and that of MTIC were 0.41, 0.6, and 0.27, respectively. 4. BSA and antitrypsin(AT) level were elevated in according to the increasing positive CMT score. In these results, we concluded that the AT was seen to increased in mastitis. The AT showed good correlation with the CMT score and BSA level. The elevated AT level proved to be a safer indicator of mastitis than BSA alone.
